You’ve got a niche website. You monetise it with affiliate relationships. You diversify your earnings by joining a few different affiliate programs. Perfect.

Did you know you can also earn commissions from Wealthy Affiliate through your niche site and your WA profile blog too?...without doing bootcamp..without a WA promotional website.

In this training we will see how you can use your own unique WA affiliate link to earn extra revenue. It might be overkill to use every method in the one site. You can choose which ones are most appropriate out of these 6 WAys to affiliate with WA.

  1. WA Referrals
  2. New WA Memberships
  3. Site Rubix Free Websites (indirectly)
  4. Site Domains
  5. Create Trainings and Tutorials
  6. Jaaxy Affiliate Program

First, Find Your WA Affiliate Link.

Each Wealthy Affiliate member (free or paid) is allocated a unique affiliate link with a lifetime cookie.

You can find your unique link in these places at WA...

  • on your profile page
  • at the bottom left of this screen.. go to WA Affiliate Program - Program Details.
  • in the black aeroplane button top of the page.

What does your affiliate link do?

On your profile page, click the box marked affiliate link. Your unique code will drop down. Copy and paste the link into a new tab in your browser to see how it works.

It takes you to the Wealthy Affiliate landing page. Notice up in the browser that your affiliate link is attached there too, right within the WA URL. Here is how mine appears in the browser http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/a_aid/d7a7a687

When a visitor clicks on your affiliate link to WA, you get tagged for that referral. The affiliate who helps a visitor take action will get the commission payment.

Hi, I`ve been having problems with the tutorials. I prefer to do them in Microsoft Word; off of WA. But, I asked Kyle and Carson too; and they haven`t responded yet. For instance; how many pages should I have on Microsoft Word to have the needed pages here? I went through the first part; and it told me I had to have less than 1000 characters. But, when I got to the introduction. I was told I didn`t have enough pages. But, I had five pages on Word. Although I had spaces; should there be no spaces? Please Advise? And I want to say too; I did not put a video in. Is it necessary to have a video?

Thanks;

Hey Michaelw777, Sorry you are having problems with adding content. As it is you have no problem at all. I too like to type my articles in Microsoft Words and paste then into Site Content. In Site content you are given some pre-designed templates but you get a chance to create your own. Click on "Create New", this will take you to a page that allows you to start on a blank document. Select this document and you can then then copy and paste your content to it. It is all a breeze.

Hope I was able to help!

It really doesn't matter whether you use Microsoft or WA. Its the word count that is important. Often the microsoft formatting doesn't work in the WA format so that throws things off.

But, can someone tell me how many pages I need in Microsoft Word; to have a full article for the Introduction? Please Inform?

I am not completely sure to what you are referring. Generally, SEO requirements are a minimum of 300 words per article. Up to 1200 is good. As far as I understand what you are asking, you would write that number of words and copy them to your WA article.

Michael, use word counts instead. See image. Generally the rule is 1,000 words. So by doing this you can see when you reach that.

Now don't take this amount as gospel. Sometimes less words work and sometimes more. This is just a starting target.

I know that; but it is when I come to Introduction. I come to introduction after doing the 1000 characters. And it is in Introduction I am having problems with Tutorials; please Advise?

I am trying to do a Tutorial on Jetpack. But, in introduction; which you come to; after you have done the 1000 characters. I am having problems; putting in the introduction. If you try Tutorial on here. You will see first it asks you for a 1000 characters. But, when on the next stage. That is where I am having the problem.

I have been wondering if there might be a way to use my website to somehow promote WA through some kind of page or link. I will be reading more of this blog.

I'm still on this huge learning curve but this thought has come to the forefront of my thinking in the last couple of weeks. Definitely going to look into it.

Yes it is a massive learning curve.Just keep taking one step forward at a time. I'm still learning too, every day.
One of our colleagues here have a site about classic cars. He earns WA commissions from one tiny WA banner at the bottom of his posts. You only need two referrals to convert to premium and you have covered the cost of your own membership. Sweet.

Hi Janelle,

You may want to change the last paragraph on your first page. The last cookie wins. It's all part of the customer purchase lifecycle

Good work Hawke Eye. I got word from the horses, it's true what you say. The affiliate who causes a visitor to take action, gets the money, even though the cookies are lifetime cookies.
And that's the way the...oh you know!
Thanks Marion, I appreciate your input.
Janelle.
