There are a lot of ways to get traffic to your website or offer. None of them are cheaper or more effective than email. That’s the bottom line.
This is the cheapest and most effective form of advertising across the board in almost every industry.
However, all to often many email marketing newbies make the mistake of spamming their list with a burrage of promotional emails and hard sell techniques. Big mistake. This is a surfire way to get people to unsubscribe from your list.
Email Marketing is all about building Know, Like and Trust. You must first provide highly-targeted massages that give your subscriber what they want, when they want.
Before you send an email always remember that your subscribers are Real People, not just names and email addresses.
Ask yourself "what value does my subscriber gain from receiving this message?" and "How can I provide the most value to the subscriber by making this relevant to them?"
Right about now you may be asking yourself "When do I get a chance to make some money?"
A good average is to send 3 Value-Packed emails for every 1 full blown promotional email.
However, it is best to A/B test and see what freqencey works best for your niche. Also, you can send your list a questionnaire. Use Survey Monkey or other similar services. Ask them how often would they like to receive emails from you?
It is also a good idea to include a soft sell Call-T- Action (CTA) in every email. Example: Visit my website, watch this training video, connect with me on social, etc.
