3) Paint.Net
If you are familiar with GIMP or Photoshop interface, navigating Pint.Net interface will not be challenging. It has similar features to their own. It also comes in layers which makes editing parts of the images easier. Also, it avails you the option of adjusting brightness, curves, contrast, and lots more.
Although I mentioned above that Paint.Net will not be strange to users of Photoshop, the interface is friendly and can be easily adapted-to by newcomers. IT also has an array of tools in its tool panel cited on the left.
It is well suited as it allows easy integration with plug-ins created by its community. It avails users with more advanced options, it is also able to perform the image rotate and zoom options. Worth mention is the recording of the capability of this software. Its recording capability depends largely on your hard disk size.
4) Fotor
Fotor is another dynamic free image editing tool. It is good at editing images and helps them come out well. It gives support to almost all file format, unlike most free image editing tool that supports JPEG only.
It is one tool with unique basic features, including brightness, teeth whitening, and lots more. Also, this software includes a collage section, which present users with multiple choice to choose from templates. As such, newbies can easily create images from similar templates.
Fotor is not as robust as GIMP. It might not be the best fit for photographers and other highly specific. It lacks support for plugins and brushes like you will see in GIMP.
It has a premium version which starts at 3.33 USD monthly
