Thanks for these great tips. I will try using a content calendar and see if it will help keep me on track of regular posting.

Great !!

It will definitely help if you can just stick to it. It will not only help increase your frequency of post but also help make content generation easier

I must say my biggest mistake is not being consistent. I have been able to get 1 article out a week, but I have not been able to keep that going lately because I recently moved and am still trying to get settled. Hopefully, I will be able to get back on track soon.

Hey Jen,

It is not only you, most of us make this mistake. I use to have same problem until I developed a content calendar for my self.

With a calendar, you can monitor yourself and stay on track

Hi Ayodeji
Thanks for another great article. There are many pointers here that I need to pay attention to and do more about. For example, promoting my content still needs more work. I did commit the cardinal sin of breaking down an article into two parts when I got to about 3,500 words. It just felt too long. Honestly, I think posting 3 long well-researched relevant articles a week would require full-time engagement. That is not an option for me as I have a day job and a family and I need sleep.
Thanks again and my best regards

Wahoo, an article with 3500 words is very long and must have been extremely detailed.

Talking about doing 3 per week, all of them do not have to be that long.

When I write blog articles I ensure they are not less than 1500 words, but when I write reviews, my target is always a minimum of 1,000 words. While articles I intend to be my pillar content for that topic are always targetted towards2500.

It ll depends on how you take it, I once wrote a review and got stocked at around 700 words, I still allowed it go.

Hi Ayodeji
All good points. My average article comes in at around 1600 to 2000 words. Given my niche there aren't all that many review opportunities. Or at least if there are I need to build out more other helpful content first.
Best
