Here's What to Do First
Open a simple spreadsheet or Word document so you can record each website you find and keep it handy for later, it'll be useful in the future and save you having to do the research again.
Only record websites that are regularly updated and active.
To see who's still active check the latest post dates to make sure they are still updating and check their popularity (blog comments, social shares, social profile numbers and activity on their social pages) to see if popular and active.
Also take a note of each websites contact email address and social profiles for later (I'll explain why).
Let's get started...
Method 1: How to Find With a Simple Google Search
Open www.google.com and then search for the following:
The obvious one...
"YOUR NICHE blogs"
Or also this one to find best lists...
"top 10 websites in YOUR NICHE"
For example, in the weight loss market, search for "best weight loss blogs" or "top 10 weight loss blogs".
You'll almost always find results like these:
Lists of the best and most popular blogs in your niche.
Take note of them all in a spreadsheet.
Move onto method 2....
I did reach out to Zac Johnson when I started my website back in October and he was really kind to reply back. Not only that but he also shared my post on his twitter account which was focused around his reply.
Thank you for the reminder to do this,
Jagi
