As an affiliate, of course you need to look for what's hot, what sells out there, but I would advise you NOT to sell it just because it's got a High sales rate. The product needs to be hot for YOU as well.
Why you might ask? Because you are going to need to write a LOT of convincing articles on the subject. Are you good enough to convince someone to buy something you do not believe in yourself? Very few people are.
So bottom line, look for something that really appeals to you, so you will have all the energy and enthusiasm you need to sell your product or service.
