2. Create Valuable Blog Posts

Google identifies keywords as a way to make your website more relevant for certain search terms. To be found for these key terms, use your keywords in the title, introduction (first paragraph), and the first heading or subtitle while you write the rest of the post naturally.

Google figured out that keyword stuffing is now a taboo. It calculates your keyword density, which is the ratio of the number of keywords used to the page's total words. Google will strike with an action against your post if it has a keyword density greater than 2%.

You can only rank high in search results if you create useful and valuable content. Google can tell if your content helps people by looking at the search behavior of those who visit your site after they have searched for it.

Your blog posts will appear higher in search results if you answer a question well. Also, if you keep people on your site longer, it can make your content more popular.

Google is looking for quality content that answers the searcher’s questions and helps them with their search.

3. Concentrate Only on One or Two Keywords

Focus on not more than two keywords for each post. If you target your content to certain keywords, it will be more likely that you’re found for those search terms.

4. Include these Keywords in the Title, Headings, and URL

It's crucial to choose the keywords that will be the focus of your post. Google grants hierarchical credibility for your post's title and subheadings.

Hi Chinthaka, Usually you put the keyword in the title when you are writing it as you can't change it once it is published.

If you are not happy with the keyword title of an article you will need to create a new one with your new title and write about the topic with a fresh slant. If it is identical to the other one Google will treat it as duplicate material and not index it.

This is Marion Blacks training on using PrettyLinks. Lily
