Writing and publishing blog posts is something we all do. Others daily, others weekly or even monthly creating content is absolutely necessary if you want to succeed as an affiliate marketer.

After all, content creation is a big part of WA training. A while ago i published a post on my website about how to write a post. That post did pretty good so i decided to create a kind of a summary and share it with all you inside WA.

That doesn't mean i believe there is not enough training about that topic already inside WA. There are plenty of tutorials. I just thought i could share some easy tips i personally use when writing a post.

They have helped me so they could do the same for you. Especially if you are beginner and you still haven't figured out your own writing process.

So, lets take a look:

  • Create an outline. It doesn't have to be anything complicated. Just write down the basic key points of your post. Your headline, introduction, the main's body heading, possible subheadings inside your content and conclusion.

Identify your main keyword, secondary keywords and what goes where. That way you will be sure you want mention the same thing twice. It saves time and makes the writing process easier. Make it a habit to start all your articles by creating an outline first.

  • Use subheadings. That's an obvious one. Nobody likes reading a wall of text. Use the most interesting subheading first. You want to get people's attention right from the start. You could also use your secondary keywords inside your subheadings.

I really like the idea of the subheadings you had. I never thought of them that way. O was always thinking about secondary keywords but since they have no place in ranking in these subheadings, I really like your ideas.
I also really liked the conclusion idea which I have never done but I do have a question about this one. Would you not just be summarizing what you had just written? Could you give an idea of what you mean exactly here?
Thanks for sharing a great different and very useful post. Sometimes the less popular topics have the greatest impact. Cheers!

Hello Jair,
First of all, i would like to thank you for your comment.

Now about the conclusion. What i do is mentioning the key point of my post and why it will be helpful to go through the entire article (in an indirect way).
The reason i do that is because a lot of people will first scroll all the way down and read the conclusion of the post instead of the introduction. They want to find out what the gist of the post is and depending on that if its worth reading the whole thing,
I read that in a study somewhere online. That people behave like that.
So, my conclusion is sort of a CTA that tells people why they should read the whole article and at the same guides them to the real CTA.
Not that i have mastered the technique though. But i am trying.

Very nice and well written. I like the part where you say if you have said all you need to say at 900 words, stop and don't try to reach 1500, you'll just end up repeating yourself. I had just that thought the other day. Anyway thanks for the good summary. Will definitely tag it and get back to it. Thanks again!
