It sounds like you're doing it right, it's probably just a broken link on Amazon's side maybe... But if you want to drop me a private message with your link I'd be happy to take a look to see what's going on.
oh and it's not just one link..... its all of them. I've got links to maybe 4 dozen products totaled on all my pages.
