The current bank card I have provided to Wealthy Affiliate to pay for my monthly fee is no longer in service. How can I provide information on my new card?

Just go to your account settings like you would with any other service :)

You can go here

Scroll down page, click the last invoice and update payment info.

How do I change my payment information?

When inserting a link from Amazon, can you select an entire category of products (ie. Dog Doors) or do you have to specifically choose one brand in particular (ie. Ideal Pet B

even if you are talking about generalities, like dog doors i would link out to specific articles rather than link them to amazon in a category....
the idea behind your site is to help the visitor choose the best one for them, by showing what is good and what is not...amazon doesn't do that ...
so if they go to the category and choose on that doesn't fit their bill then your reputation is ruined in their eyes....even though it was their choice...
you are making it easy for them by creating posts on 'the best dog door for small dogs' you take some of the risk out of it as you are seen as hte expert....
what are you see as if you link from 'here's some dog doors'
but it is just my opinion....it is your site....
make it easy for your visitor to make a choice and you will get more sales....give them too much choice and they won't buy and look elsewhere for more specifics...
go through the criteria for choosing dog doors and create posts about them and what they whould be looking for and you are helping them choose the right product for them....
have fun

Thanks very much for your great advice and suggestions which I found very insightful and informative. I appreciate your detailed explanation.

I have been able to select one or the other Search for that one product you want and link it or link the entire category.

I recently visited a blog that is in the same niche as myself. They had a whole page dedicated to Amazon items that they like/use. I thought this was great because it certainly makes it a breeze to keep track of those links in the case that one breaks. However, we do have a search function in our back office where we can find things by word.

You could login into your account then do a search on your category (doing a native shopping ad. or do the same search and use the site stripe custom ad which will link to the page. But there will be unwanted items displayed.

I think the entire categoy would work, unless you are reviewing and promoting a certain brand, my friend!

I just joined Amazon's Affiliate Program. However, when I began to add links to products available on Amazon in my post, it went directly to my shopping account on Amazon. I

You can use SiteStripe to shorten the URLS. You can find this on your Amazon Associates dashboard under Tools section. It basically adds an Amazon floating header on any page. So, for example if you are on a product page in Amazon and you decide you want to promote that particular product, you can generate a unique affiliate link for it to add in your affiliate site.

Thank you for your response. I used the SiteStripe feature to provide a link promoting a product to my website.

When I double-checked if I had done this correctly, I found that the link accessed my personal Amazon account providing my name, shopping cart, orders, payment information, etc.

How do I enable a link without providing access to my personal Amazon account information? Thanks for your help!

If you are logged into your account, it will populate your information. Otherwise, if a visitor clicks it, it should populate theirs. An example of a shortened Amazon URL would look something like this: https://amzn.to/3y0fWd5 and that is if you use Get Link -> Text -> Short Link via the SiteStripe on the top page of Amazon.

Thanks so much for your response and clarification!

I see you just joined Amazons Associates Program. Can I assume you are already approved.

You can get to your associate links by first logging into your associates program. Then it seems to work easiest if you open another amazon.com tab and search for what you are looking for. Then look in the upper left hand corner for .Site Stripe. You have several options for layout. Choose one copy the code and put it in your post..

This blog does not show Amazon most recent site stripe but it shows adding Amazon affiliate links. If your free siterubix.com website is not in use you may want to create a "test post" and try the different options to see what they look like.

Thanks very much for your response. I enabled the SiteStripe feature and figured out how to use it. I was able to provide links of Amazon products onto my website. My concern was that the links went directly to my Amazon account providing access to my personal information. However, I have since learned that when a reader accesses the link, it goes to their Amazon account and not mine. Can you please confirm this? Thanks alot for your help!

Hi - don't worry, that's how it works. They changed the way you add links as from March 1.

You have to be in your own account to add the links, but when people click on them, they will be taken to their account, not yours.

Hi Diane,

Well hopefully you went to the amazons website and there should be a banner at the top of it.

Yes, I finally learned how to enable the SiteStripe feature to provide Amazon links to my website. Thanks for your response!

Thank you very much for the link of adding Amazon links to a post. It clarified this process for me. Thanks again!

You're very welcome!
