Hey long time no chat

So the last three weeks have been so busy some good some bad where do we start and how do we continue.

So about five years ago my partner and i had a bill for three month really small not very big for just three months i was so determined to sort this out that is what has been going on over the last couple of weeks and more.

A company so big yet no communication and the everyday people feel very little and very small well our problem was with a big company started in 2013 but really became big in 2015 the bills were getting bigger and bigger then that massive bill of £5985 in 2015 thats when i decided that this was going to stop.

Big companies like the electrical companies think that they can run over people and make them so depressed this did not work with me so i contacted a place called the ombudsman they worked on it for about a year or so things seemed to be ok but that was wrong i went to change electric and gas company but to my surprise they were not sorted so yet again back to the ombudsman and again they refered that everything was sorted but hey still in 2019 not sorted.

This time i took it into my own hands and i have had the bills wipped off and changed companies at long last this has taken so long that it actually gave me a chill the first few years but this time it was so easy i called a spoke to someone they helped more than i have ever had help changed and happier and a little richer lol.

My work has also increased as well but i aim to take my tablet to work with me and work hard on my website.

If you sit down and let things walk over you you will never get up so get up and fight stand your ground.

I have people who owe me money in my business--from a worldwide corporation. Because I'm a sole proprietor, they ignore my repeated bills and when they finally do pay me--sometimes over a year after they had me do the work, they deduct all the late charges i put on the bills. I wish I could do that when I'm late on a credit card bill. Your post is a motivator to me because of the big guys thinking they can push the little guy around.

Thank you for the reply i know the feeling and i know how you feel my father used to build kitchens and really beautiful ones but he had two clients that owed him thousands and he kept asking what he was owed but to the day he passed he never got that money.
I got really fed up with the game playing that they were doing and one minute we have an account with them then they have no knowledge of us so i took it into my own hands and stepped back and changed everything so that it is a fresh start.
I don't know where you are but here we have a small claims court it cost around fifty pounds to take the client to court if i were you i would be looking in that direction, they have walked over you once they will sure try to do it again.

Tracey--I'm in the US--and we have something similar here. Long time ago, I used it, but when you get a judgement, guess what, it's still up to YOU to collect--so back to square one. I've told this company that I can't do any more work for them until they're caught up. Then I'll probably still decline further work from them. I think that they might be kiting checks to their creditors!

I totally agree Tracey, I take then to task too. If they argue I stick it on Twitter, that usually does the trick.

Exactly. Except that's why they use the tactics they do, most people give up long before getting anything.
When companies mess me about I go online and complain. Water company, scummy water, Put a pic online, they said they were working on it and it was only our area until loads of people from many areas said there's was the same. It was fixed the next day, lol.

I did get really annoyed they really dont want to help people they just want to make people panic but I took the bull by the horns and swung them l am glad I turned the tables .

Good for you, they shouldn't get away with it. Also makes you realise that you aren't powerless, which is what they prefer the ordinary person to feel so they don't challenge them.

Tell me about they have no sympathy for anyone they don't like losing
