What is the ultimate purpose of targeting these low competition keywords (aka here low hanging fruits)? I mean, if it brings in very low tra

Hey Peter, what about 100 keyword themes as mentioned in Kyle's post which I love :

Thanks Carol!

You will not have 100 visitors with 5 posts on the top page in Google. It is much harder than you think.

Back to your question. What do you see as an alternative? I think there isn't any.

You right! no alterantive (for me)
But the question still stands. Is it worth it? And what is the roadmap ?
ok lets say I rank #1 for only one kw, and get 50 visitors per month. what is the next step?
A real life case study would be welcome here from somebody who succeeded.

thx

What I am saying is: it is worse than you think. One post will not bring you 50 visitors.

Next step is: write hundreds or thousands of posts.

Hi,

In the WA keyword tool, I can see the search volume data column.

First, is that data mean global search volume or local (eg: for USA?) or what?

Second, i

And we do pull data from ALL search engines in terms of traffic data, not just Google. :)

Hi,
What does it mean?
30 from google + 30 from bing + 40 from whatever = 100 searches appears in kw tool?

Well it is run through our algorithm based on the overall data. Google doesn't actually give completely accurate data, sometimes it is inflated and sometimes deflated and with Jaaxy and WA we normalize this.

I assume you speak about 'Searches'. This is all based on Google, global. This number is very exact, it shows monthly searches for this keyword. You can compare it with Google if you search under quotes and it always shows the same, very reliable. Do it incognito.

Hi,

I have a general question up front I start doing anything:
I'm from Europe. How will my commission paid out to me by Amazon, ClickBank, JVzoo, and other affiliate

Featured Comment

All companies pay differently, most offer at minimum check payment regardless of your location in the world. For example here at Wealthy Affiliate we pay via Paypal worlowide as our primary payment method, but we can also pay via check if you reach over a certain threshold. :)

As I said though, every company is different and they will state how they pay when you become part of their affiliate program.

Thanks! :)

Glad to help!

Hi,

I have a Payoneer account, but am also just starting out with Amazon Associates. Payoneer is specifically created for online marketers outside the US so I think its the easiest option at this time. I am from South Africa.

Good luck

Hi,

I am from Europe as well and I recently discovered that there is a way to get paid by Amazon, even outside the USA, by opening a US bank account.
A way to do this is opening an online account at Payoneer

I haven't tried it yet but I am planning to.

Thank you Angel,
I'm going to do some research about it.
If you will have experience with it, please let me know.
Thank!

Additionally, it makes sense to check the terms and conditions of any program you are considering. Many will pay people outside of the United States but that's not the case for all programs. You want to be certain that a program is going to work for you before you invest time in it.

Yes exactly that is the point of my question. Thank you.

unfortunatelly the answer makes me a bit disappointed, as I planned to start with amazon niche site.

With Amazon you do have the option of getting payment in the form of a gift card but that might not be the most appealing option.

Thats not an option :(

Hi Peter, all affiliate program you mentioned above they will pay you via check

why don't join the aliexpress affiliate? Is same as Amazon but their commission pay out up to 50%

Check on my review and give it a try :)

Hi,
What is a check exactly in practice? Is it a bank transfer directly to my bank account? Or what to do to get the money via check?
Thanks!

Ps: Your site looks so good!

you will be given by check and you can take the check and bank in to your prefer bank yourself

thx

If you're outside of the United States, you probably don't want a program that pays via check. In many countries, you'll have to pay an additional fee to cash an international check and it can often be a major hassle as well. Places that pay through PayPal or something similar are much better, as services like that work fairly well in most parts of the world.

Theoretically If a keyword has zero QSR and I target it just by proper on-page seo and content, that means I will surely rank to 1st spot in google for that keyword?

One more QSR related question:
Which KW would YOU prefer? (assuming both kw with the same sense)

A: Searches 80, QSR = 0
or
B: Searches 200, QSR = 50

thanks :)

No always. The reason is that there are often times some competitive terms within the actual term itself. The likelihood is VERY high (if it truly is zero, and the keyword makes sense), but there are no guarantees.

You can improve your odds drastically by understanding the competition under keywords, which is why we make that a core focus.

Thanks Kyle!

No, this is far from sure.

QSR is quoted search result and Google can use any combination of words as your true competition. I have many examples where I failed to rank on the top page in spite of QSR=0.

Theoretically, but there are also other factors that affect ranking.

If Google doesn't see many competitor sites it will often place high authority sites with related keywords into top positions so it isn't an automatic assurance, it simply means that your post will be best matched for the keyword.
