Each One Of Us Has Hurdles To Overcome

The question is how to overcome hurdles when they seem so insurmountable?

The answer is simple, keep persevering against all odds... easier said than done - and I know that full well!

I've spent the better part of a week trying to figure out which is the best Speech Recognition software to use out of a list of about 10 Free Possibilities.

Each of them posed a different hurdle to overcome:

  • Some didn't work in the internet browser
  • Some didn't work in One Note - which I use a lot
  • Some didn't work in Email

So I became really frustrated and now these hurdles seemed truly insurmountable and my ambitious intent to finished more than 12 articles/posts was thwarted.

Did I give up?

NO!

I persevered and decided I would go with Windows Speech Recognition because it was already on the computer, I just needed to know how to make it work!

Through trial and error and much practice, I overcame the hurdle!

And so I'm proud to present to you in, Text Format:

How To Use Windows Speech Recognition

I trust and hope I will have saved you the bother of trying to get over this hurdle and you can now create your very own articles and posts FAST!

I like this and I am going to try out this speech recognition. I love it too how you never give up.
It's the key to online success.
Regards Debs ;-)

Thanks for your encouraging words Debs! Much appreciated.
Onwards and upwards despite the hurdles! :-)

Hammer down. That s the way to do it. Just keep on keepin on. It will all be worthwhile when it's all said and done. Great job.

Thank you Xavier for your kind words.

Congrats! Never give up.

~Mark

Thank you Mark! That is the key!

Well done, Edu!

I think it's the nature of the Internet where everything is available instantly, that many people think that they can build their online business faster than they can say "Make money!"

The reality is that, as with everything, there are high's and lows. The key is knowing that nothing remains the same and that everything is temporary. Add some perseverance and consistency to the mix, and you have a great recipe for success!

And if you can't jump over those hurdles, crawl passed them! Whatever you do, just keep it moving!

I needed to read this blog, AND your comment. Feeling "stuck", but it's really that feeling is just in my mind, there are probably 30 actions I can take that are positive moves for myself and my business.

Leah, I can't tell you how many times I hit a wall...sometimes several times in one day!

I have yet to read or hear of any successful person who says that everything will be smooth sailing 24/7. How boring would that be!!!

I did a lot of painting when I was younger and took many art classes in college. We were always encouraged to take a few steps back to view our work. Not to just admire it, but to be able to see it from another angle. There are things that become more evident when you walk back a few steps.

This is a business that requires dedication and consistency, but it's OK to have fun and rest. If you're trying to force something to happen, not only is unlikely that it will not happen, you'll just get stressed in the process.

I was just chatting with one of my buddies on this platform earlier; he was also feeling stuck and a whole lot of pressure. Someone advised him to go out and do something fun. Initially, he felt guilty for not working on his business. But eventually, he was able to enjoy time with his family and he felt a lot more relaxed.

Feel free to send me a PM, Leah if you just need to vent or have any questions. And in the process, we can help each other.

Veronica

I am encouraged by your words as that was the aim of my blog!

Please let me know if there is anything you need assistance with or you just need a sounding board.

We are here to help.

Great image. Is the quality of the Windows Speech Recognition good enough for use on a sight teaching a language such as say English?

Yes, I believe it would Dennis, however, you definitely need to work through the Speech Voice Training Tutorial, the more you use it the more it is gets used to your voice.

However, a tip I saw was that your choice of language must match the language of the system. So don't do English with a Spanish setup in Windows.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for stopping by!

I’ve not tried the speech recognition thing yet. In another life I used to dictate reports but found Idon't talk like I write and had to do so many changes, it wasn’t worth it.
However I have found my own challenges with SWAG this month but like you I am persevering.
Good luck.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Like you, I've been wrestling with this change in mind-shift because I also love to write the words rather than speak them out loud.

It is a huge challenge for me and I'm not yet convinced that I can dictate error free as good as I can type.

We'll have to see how it pans out. I may be pleasantly surprised.

I trust you were encouraged to persevere in your challenges - this is a tough course and hence the name Super!
Affiliate Bootcamp wasn't easy for me to follow the first time, or the second time, so I'm hoping with the guidance we receive from Kyle will help us become more successful.

Please let me know if you need any help! Here to assist.

Edu
