Hey Angela,

In case you still need help, there are different tutorials shared right here on the WA platform that may offer you assistance.

See screen print below... to see how to find them.

Hope you find this helpful.

Are you placing your posts within the particular categories as I see on both site they are showing on the home page but for most of the menus when you click them nothing happens apart from one or two.

You have your menu titles which is fine but you need to add categories when those post will go specifically to that menu title.

you can do this when in a post on the right side you will see categories and you can tick the ones you want that post to go to.

Or go to all posts which is quicker and go down one at a time click quick edit and there you can add that post to a particular category.

once done click update and go to the next post rinse and repeat.

Andre

All of my posts have the appropriate categories assigned to them. For some reason it don't show up on the main page when you click the category.

have you cleared your cache and refreshed your browser if still having issues perhaps send a ticket into site support for them to check out why this is happening as if you have your posts with the appropriate categories and updated it should show up

Is this for your cooking site or the little one?
With the cooking site, you have no menus to put your post on apart from the Home page, the other ones are you're about me, privacy policy, affiliate disclosure, and medical disclaimer so there are no categories there as I said apart from the home page.

For the little one site, you have categories as your menu and the only place your posts appear is either on the filter all menu or the products menu which shows the ten posts you have created..

When you click the other menu titles nothing happens

Specifically looking at the little one site. I haven't even gotten to the cooking one yet.

Is this ticket one I submit here on WA, or through WordPress?

Yea thought it was the little one to submit a ticket it is through WA click the help button at the top menu then select site support and just follow the prompts

Can you provide us with a screenshot, you may attach it here with the comments to advise further? And thank you.

Hi Angela,

I feel there are a lot of advantages to upgrading to the premium plus.

I would ask myself have I done all the lessons in premium first. Upgrading and not following the lessons would be of no purpose to me.

I have finished the 5 levels in premium and am now halfway into the Bootcamp training. I try to watch all of Jay's webinars every Friday, or I will try to catch up on the ones I have missed.

The upgrade will be worth it to me after I have finished all my previous training lessons.

A lot also depends on my financial situation.

All the best,

Michael

Thank you so much for your comment. In what way will the premium plus be worth it for you? Because of the classes that are only offered to premium plus members? Or is there something more?

Thanks
Angela

Hi Angela,

I like the availability of more Jaaxy tools. The multiple webinars and the more up-to-date lessons/training.

I will be sticking with the premium membership for now.

Best wishes,

Michael

Annual membership is good rather than paying $50 a month. If you can, get the annual membership at Black Friday time as then you will always get it at a discount.

You should also question how long your site has been up, and if it is reasonable to expect it to be making money yet. Whether you have had it for a couple of months or a couple of years would produce a different expectation.

This is true, I want to get the yearly membership cost, and very likely might have enough saved up for it by the time the black friday sale comes back! LOL

It all depends on what you feel you need. Personally, I feel that a premium membership is more than enough for the majority of people who come to WA.

Plus, I’m in a similar situation like many other premium members. I’m grandfathered at the $299 a year price. I get 50 websites, the support I receive when I need it is more than adequate. I have Jaaxy pro again grandfathered at $19.00 per month. And my WA commissions more than cover these costs.

As for the additional training, yes that’s a plus, but on the other hand to much training can be a bad thing. As it can with no intention be a distraction from the core training. But that’s just me.

So, for me at this moment, it makes no sense to upgrade.

Good advice. Focus on what I have at hand and make the most of it. Then farther down the road if I see the upgrade as a beneficial then go for it.

Thank you!

It looks like you are wondering if you should upgrade to Premium Plus because you are currently a Premium member.

As a Premium member you have a lot of training you can go through which will help you learn how to make money. The real difference with Jaaxy is that with Premium you have to manually click to get the QSR (no big deal) and you get less search results (25) vs 100 per search, But if you don't mind doing a little extra manual effort you can just do a little more searching.

With Premium you can own 10 websites whereas Premium plus offers hosting for 50.

There is nothing wrong with being a Premium member and waiting to make some profit first then thinking about upgrading.

Premium Plus has additional very helpful targeted training but it comes with a price tag. You can learn the skill you need to earn on your website without upgrading to Premium Plus.

To do a comparison of the memberships check out

We wish you some income as you go forward.

Hey George, your comparison of membership URL is a dead link. :-(

Here is an easy way to correct that URL: Hope this helps you.

Thanks,
I fixed it up because http://wealthyaffilaite.com/join is really great.
(http://wealthyaffiliate.com slash join)

Have you checked it?

Nope George... you've still spelt the URL incorrectly. See screen print below...

Once you provide the corrected URL, it CAN be live as it belongs to WA, so there is no issue with that.

OK thanks. Now I see my mistake.

According to the charts that I have been shown to me and I have been referenced to both offer 50 premium sites and the only mark-able difference is that one offers faster support(which the support I get now is more than adequate), a bump to how many people can go to your site, and Jaaxy upgrades.

I don't see these being worth the cost at all :(

Thank you for your comment.

Angela

Yes, not until you make a lot of income. And even then if you are doing well it may not make sense.

The real key to your success is keyword research and SEO.

There are some folks who are successful doing just that. The most important thing is to keep the content useful. It needs to be things like "Today I taught my five year old how to play with my three year old" rather than "so busy we only had PBJ for lunch" (unless you have some very special PBJ recipe!

Go for it!

Very good point!

I will have to look at my day and see what I can pull from it that I can offer advice, products, etc. for my readers so that I will not only give them a couple minutes into my life and away from there's, but also give them a solution, help, advice, what have you that can help with it.

Thank you!

Angela

One thing you can try is to use a narrative structure to embed your individual posts into some larger whole.

Craft a story by connecting the anecdotes of your life with the products and services you recommend.

An important aspect of marketing that we all have to remember is that we're in the business of transformation.

The most powerful form that transformation can take in the human psyche is a story.

So if you can take your personal experience, the problems your audience faces, and the products or services you recommend to fix those problems, and weave the 3 together into a compelling narrative, then you might find it further strengthens your brand.

I cannot say how much I love this bit of advice!!

I am actually going to paraphrase all that you said and print it out and put it on my wall right next to my computer so that I can look at it and think on it for a couple minutes right before I go to type every time.

This is something that I believe everyone should keep in mind.

I personally can get wrapped up in the logistics of it all. Making sure I have good keywords, word count, links, SEO ranking, etc.

If I lose sight of why I am doing this whole thing, trying to help people and make a little money doing it, then my whole train gets derailed in a couple weeks and I burn out.

Thank you so much for putting this simply into focus for me.

Angela

I like to keep it personal. It makes me seem real and real people warrant more trust in my eyes. It's your blog. Just be careful. Some people have nefarious intentions sad to say.

~Debbi

I think I understand what you are saying... Though I am not sure about the nefarious intentions. Do you mean people who might comment?

Angela

Yes. Some people can use your personal details to try and scam you later.

Oh how horrible! I will make sure to keep an eye out for that.

Thank you.

I like to keep mine personal too, Angela!

Jeff

Thank you!

Angela

You're welcome!

Jeff

Well, it's your blog, you have the authority to do whatever you want-- it's your call.
And I do understand why you ask. At some point, I kind of felt the same thing.

But, if you are trying to make money from it eventually, then it will be better if it's more niched down. So that you can attract specific audience.
On the other hand, if you wish to share some personal stuff, make it sure that your blog posts can connect with your readers in a way that you can convert them to customers later on. If that makes sense.

Like for example, you can do a mom blog, like you said you're raising little ones. I think that's a good option.
But, you still have to narrow it down.

Hope that helps.

Thank you so very much!

Yes I know that I need to keep it niche relevant, and I plan to. I have just been stumbling with getting people to my site who I could connect with and I thought that this would be a good boost for me to try and bridge that gap.

Thank you for your insights.

Yes! Yes it would!😁😁😁

WA doesn't have an app but its site is mobile responsive. You can also set up your phone's email program to manage your site email accounts.

Thank you. Yes it is responsive, and am currently on my tablet instead of my computer. I am just noticing that it is not so quick to respond to buttons clicked and words typed.
