New Goals and Direction
How many times have you started something and then stopped for one reason or another? I cannot tell you how many times I have done this! And you know what...? I'm getting sick and tired of it. I'm tired of quitting on myself and going for what I want in life.
So this time, I am making an agreement with myself. I will give myself 6 months. Each month will have its own goals and what I work towards. By the end of 6 months, I will assess if I have reached my main goal or not and whether I want to continue with doing this.
What will I be doing? I signed on with a company to sell books for children ages newborn through the teenage years. To be perfectly honest, soem of these books could appeal to adults as well.
I will convert a freshly made website into a platform to promote book parties that I hold for hosts and hostesses, as well as driving traffic to my site through the company. I will focus on writing content centered around books, reading, literacy, and growing & developing children. Possibly might branch out into education as well.
My 1st month goals are:
1) Make $100 in profit through selling books to afford this site
2) Write 3 blog posts per week minimum
3) Dedicate at least an hour a day to working on my site
4) Book at least 2 Facebook Book Parties for people who want to earn free books
To be clear, I am not going on a 30 day month, I will be going by calendar month. So that means, since today is the 11th of March, I only have 20 day left to reach my goals.
Time to get motivating!!

Nice goals. Yes, have done the same thing, start something and quit. Now with Wealthy Affiliate, have not done this as always new blogs and training provided to keep me interested to keep pushing my business.
Very nice! My problem with WA has been the cost and no income to support it. Plus the fact I’m a new momma and trying to find balance between raises my baby and following my passions.
Good luck, those seem like some pretty aggressive goals. I'm sure you will make good progress toward them as you get rolling. Keep in mind that things will start slow and build over time.
This is true and thank you for that. Selling children’s books is something new I started and have done a bit, yet have hit a bit of a wall as far as doing what I need to to progress my business. But yes, I need to keep perspective and remember sown plants take time to grow.
