I hope everything is good with all of you and if you celebrate Christmas, I hope you are all set and not stressed!!
The title
My title is strange, yes! Is it a code for my safe? If it was you would only find moths, cobwebs and dead spiders!!
It is actually my earnings from Adsense from the last 5 days.
The 18 and 60 are pence, not pounds unfortunately.
18 pence was my biggest ever day from Adsense and it was followed by a big fat zero. And then 60p happened. Wow! I know, it’s not a lot but for me it showed a sign of progress and I started to think ………. 💭
Adsense
Unfortunately I hit another zilch yesterday and I’m beginning to think that the slowing down of my website to enable Adsense isn’t worth it.
To be fair, I’m not posting at the moment. My actual job is extremely busy right now and home life is equally manic so I decided to take a break until January.
That would explain the inconsistency but does it tell the whole story?
Adsense is just a few extra pennies in the pocket and can’t be relied upon to earn the living we all desire. We all know that, but can it provide enough extra greens to help us launch an advertising campaign?
I don’t know but maybe some of the wonderful community members do!
What is your experience with Adsense? Are you earning a consistent commission from it or do you think it’s a waste of time?

It seems that a little is coming in, Tony, but I have not yet ventured into Adsense at this time!

It is a good way to earn a few pennies Jeff, but, it does affect the speed of your website.
Whenever I visit a website loaded with google ads I immediately leave!! Mainly because people just fill their whole content with google ads.
I’ve tried to minimise the amount of ads to make it more bearable for the reader.

I liked your title, by the way! It had a nice hook to it.
As you say, Adsense is something extra, definitely something to think about adding "on the side" but not something to be relied upon solely (unless there are tons of quality traffic to the website, of course!)

Congratulations on your commissions. Yes, they may seem small but every one of us here at WA started small as well. Just keep publishing content, and keep your readers on your website ad those bigger commissions will come in.
Everyone deserves a break, what a perfect time to take a break during the holiday season.
Just needed to recharge the old batteries!! I’m still writing blogs, just not posting or being active on social media!!
I should have loads to release in January though and maybe those pennies will turn into pounds!!
