Website Traffic Down, How is Yours Going?

Last Update: October 19, 2019

Traffic to my main website is down this week, about 3 weeks ago I wrote a blog here on Wealthy Affiliate titled Google Love Finally! and yes my organic traffic from Google is still doing well. Now it's both Yahoo & Bing who have gone almost absent, do they all take turns ranking and not ranking our content?

View the Google Analytics image below to see how my traffic has gone down in the past week.

My website was averaging over 800 visitors per day and is now down to less than 800 per day, should I be concerned?

To answer my own question above, no I am not concerned as my sales and revenue are up about 13% from last week to this week.

I attribute it to Google being more productive than Yahoo + Bing combined and do indeed expect my traffic to gradually surpass this week and be back on track.

I have also today wrote a brand new blog post article on my website that I made my static main page & also paid for and requested comments in order to boost things a bit and get the traffic rolling.

Are You utilizing the SiteComments platform here at WA?

How about your website traffic, have you seen an increase or like me a decrease in the past week?

Are you more popular on Google, Yahoo, Bing or Social Media sites?

It went well for me 2 months ago. Currently it's a nightmare.

It changes with your publishing frequency. It happens to me.

Currently, my traffic stinks - but it was great last week. I really don't know what to attribute that to - I'll just keep plugging away! Good luck to you! :)

Tony,

Do you have your site(s) set up in Bing Webmaster Tool?
If not, I recommend you do this.

Thank you so much Jay,

I appreciate that great advice my friend.

I am pretty sure that it is but will check now, does Yahoo have a webmaster tool as well?

Bing Webmaster Tools is associated with Yahoo.

The Bing Webmaster Tools has a new import feature where you can bring in your data from Google Search Console.

Thanks. I don't know how I missed it but I did. I checked Bing Webmaster tools and I hadn't verified my site. Doing that as we speak. Thank you Jay! And thanks Tony for the blog that prompted this :)
Happy weekend to you both.
Cheers
