Do you use the SiteComment Platform at Wealthy Affiliate?

I do and besides the rare times when someone doesn't know the difference between a comment and feedback everything is great.

Friends,

Comment below with your thoughts on what the difference between Comments & Feedback is Please and Thank you.

Here is a link to the SiteComments Platform - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/comments/requests

Here is the link to the SiteFeedback Platform - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/website-feedback

Both can be found by clicking on the light blue SiteRubix "Build Your Website Here" tab over on the left side.

If you aren't yet sure the difference between Comments on a specific blog on a website and Feedback about an entire website then follow this post because some very knowledgeable WA Members will most likely be sharing great knowledge below.

Thank you Friends for reading, commenting and sharing,

Tony

P.S. I do have 3 blog posts on my website that are in need of quality comments and they can be found on the WA SiteComments Platform :)

Ain't it frustrating when you ask for a 'comment' and you get 'feedback'? Thanks for getting the word out.Tony

I love the SiteComment platform and yes, I do know the difference between feedback on a website as a whole and comments on a particular post. I use SiteComments quite a bit and it's just another reason that WA is the best place online to create a successful online business. So many great tools here!

Site comments are to be about the content. If the post is about Jack and Jill falling down the hill then the comment needs to pertain to that.
Feedback needs to be about the site, the content , the layout the plugins, if you are using everything correctly and so on.
I hope I'm close.

I do use siteComment for my website as well. I am juggling between time with writing contents, taking the bootcamp classes, getting comment, etc. I often forget to make time requesting for comments. Thank you for the reminder.

Do you often write an article and then submit for multiple comments or do you wait for a few and then request comments?

Hi Haroda, I'm afraid I've been guilty of forgetting the 2 for 1 for comments since the challenge and they are very important to do.

Before the challenge... as soon as I published an article, I was doing the 4 for 2 immediate so I could request 2 comments. I would work on my next article immediately.

Great idea. Thank you.

When I ask for feedback, I want someone to look at my site with a critical eye and let me know what they like and what suggestions they have for improving it.

When I ask for comments, I want someone to go to my article, read it, and then leave a comment as someone who was interested in my topic and wants to be a part of a discussion about it.

When I'm giving feedback or comments, I use the same criteria.

Hi Tony - I use Site Comments for my website.

I'm just south of 400.

Many comments are thin and seem to lack any true interaction (skimming) with the post subject matter. Maybe it's my content.

Like you, I see people offering site feedback as opposed to comments about the content.

I suppose most are new and don't understand the difference yet.

Either way, if it helps my site gain more credibility with Google I'm all for it.

I remember the first time I goofed this one up then it hit me like a ton of bricks when I read the response as to why they deleted my comment.

Great post... Thank you!

You are welcome Debra and thank you my Friend!

Tony

thanks for clarifying

Wonderful Robert, Hennie is correct!

Hi, Tony.

I don't know if I am that knowledgeable about this subject, but let me give it a try.

Comment is where you leave a comment for a specific post underneath that post in the comments area on the site.

Site feedback is your opinion on the website as a whole, like the layout, the appearance, the use of popups and opt-in forms, etc.

That is my take on it. Thanks for the question.
Hennie

Awesome Hennie!

Thank you my Friend,

Tony
