Haters are just confused admirers

I know that it might seem impossible but I do have haters ......

A very wise person once said that the easiest way to fail is to try to please everyone (Maybe not those exact words but something along those lines)

It's also been said that if you've never failed that you most likely haven't accomplished much of anything either. (Once again paraphrased)

In my humble opinion, we should all do our best to be true to ourselves while treating others with respect and courtesy no matter the circumstances.

I have been guilty of falling short of my own advice more than a few times and am working on improving myself in that and many other areas daily.

Now when I say that we should all treat others with respect and courtesy, I am not saying that we shouldn't stand up for what we feel is the right thing to do or that we shouldn't say what needs to be said. Just that we can and should take a deep breath then say and/or do them in a respectful and courteous manner.

Doing the right thing, many times won't be the popular thing or the easy thing to do.

Do the right thing anyway!

Tony, righteous anger is the term that comes to mind. I have noticed you speaking up for what is right a number of times and you always manage to do it in a caring, considerate way. You are one of Wealthy Affiliate's True Gentlemen. Keep being you. Please. The world needs more men like you.

My father always used to say "Think before you speak". Which I do a lot (sometimes too much) but is helpful with knowing the right words to say in any given conversation.
I think we all know the right path to take, within ourselves. Our conscience guides us and sets our path straight.
We are, who we think, we are. Thats why its important to think positive thoughts. Like attracts like.

Love the title, haters are just confused admirers. To date in my online endeavours, I don’t think I have made any haters so maybe I’m not speaking up enough.
I tend not to get into debates on right or wrong... it’s just not worth the effort.
Actually I did find one hater here who was very rude about my site. I accepted his points gracefully but was secretly devastated.
About two weeks later he got the hump over something else and disappeared from WA or at least from blogging and commenting.

Great way of putting it in a nutshell.. It’s hard keeping
focused at times when we now the potential
of this business we are trying to create for
ourselves and loved ones.Breaking free from
the norm can be met with so much resistance
sometimes from friends & family. But at least we
try and will succeed with the help and support
of likeminded people :) Really love that mantra
Haters are secret admirers. Have a Boss day

Hi Tony

Very well said mate. If only everyone took that advise the world would be a better place.

I come from a place where the slogan was "the way the world should be" alas it changed drastically the other way.

Every little bit helps improve the world.
Well done Tony

Cheers

Hello, Tony I really like your title being Haters are confused, admirers.

That seems to resonate so well when I think usually when someone hates it is in my experience because they do not relate to the communication style.

I have found body language speaks a thousand words, however, it can be misinterpreted so easily. And I have found trying to read into that can be confusing, especially when trying to assess how I performed.
And since I have only begun in the online world, understanding writing styles is even more complex, maybe because there is the trust that needs confirming in other ways that I am still learning.

So hence thinking of your statement that there is still admiration in the worst of the critics, is a good feeling.

Thanks so much for a hopeful blog.

Regards
Erica :)

A true post of integrity and heart, Tony! Thanks for calling it to our attention! Love the title, and so true. So much energy is wasted on all the fault-finders and not enough on productivity. Here at Wealthy Affiliate, I feel it is different from my experience. I have only found encouraging individuals, eager to lend a hand here.

We are in a world of haters, but if more and more people would reach out and take note of things like you've stated here, it would spread like a wildfire! Duly noted!

Thanks for sharing.
I think that's the whole essence of a family community.
People may not agree on certain things but it's the way we say it and how that comes across that matter.
Knowing the right path or having the right choice of words is the beginning of wisdom.
