Yes, you read the title correctly! It does indeed say "Affiliate Internet Marketing Marketing Marketing" having Marketing 3 times because the Marketing is absolutely that important. Have you ever heard the saying by realtors that the key to real estate is "Location, Location, Location"? The same goes for Affiliate Marketing online, the Marketing part is the key & the formula AIM3 is the right chemical for generating traffic and sales.
More specifically, targeted marketing that generates the correct type of traffic will result in more sales. That being said, make sure that your marketing efforts are specific and that you track the results. Double down on what works and throw out what doesn't. A & B split testing is a great way to narrow down what is producing and things that aren't. Also, track the cost of acquiring the leads & sales, giving you a cost per action amount to become more profitable.
Depending upon your niche and competition and more importantly your work ethic & desire, results will continue to increase allowing you to scale your marketing, thereby growing your business.
Keep in mind that you must be willing to accept changes in your market as well as behavior of your audience, growing and evolving as they do. Becoming complacent will eventually leave you wondering what happened, instead be one of the pioneers who continue to adjust in your market. All of the above brings me to Wealthy Affiliate and how the training does indeed teach us many ways to market ourselves as well as our products and/or services. Our niche should be narrow and focused, remember "Be Specific to be Terrific" I don't know who said that 1st but I know that it wasn't me but I do agree!
What types of marketing are available to us? Of course there are an infinite amounts of answers to that question, a few being:
- Social Media Marketing - Sites like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, MySpace and many more either via posting or through paid ads
- Content Marketing - Keywords creating traffic via SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- PPC - Pay Per Click Advertising as mentioned earlier on social sites or even on search engine platforms like Google Adwords or Bing and others.

Just like with the Location being important in real estate, marketing in online sales it's so important to target the right market. For example, a Realtor wouldn't target buyers from California when they have properties and homes for sale in Michigan. That wouldn't make any sense or cents at all, not to mention no sales and no dollars either. Commissions would be much more likely when the marketing is targeted not only to the proper State but even better would be to target the actual City.
Marketing, Marketing, Marketing when done properly & detailed to what you are selling while keeping your wants and needs of your potential customer and audience in mind creates a win-win for all parties involved.
