There is not a definite answer to this as every site is so different and we are all looking for different customers - it does take time for you to learn how to get your site looking good and then for it to get noticed amongst the other 500 000 sites out there !!!

There was a blog by Nathaniell recently where he says that in spite of his experience it takes those 4-6 months delay for the site to start working, have a look into his blog.

Happy New Year MountainGold and all the best in WA,I think in my opinion Achieving seo success is when building a website is you must have the title right cause,HTML titles have always been and remain the most important HTML signal that search engines use to understand what a page is about. Bad titles on your pages are like having bad book titles in the examples above. In fact, if your HTML titles are deemed bad or not descriptive, Google changes them. The meta description tag, one of the oldest supported HTML elements, allows you to suggest how you’d like your pages to be described in search listings. If the HTML title is the equivalent to a book title, the meta description is like the blurb on the back describing the book.A meta description that contains the keywords searched for (in bold) may catch the user’s eye. A well-crafted meta description may help ‘sell’ that result to the user. Both can result in additional clicks to your site. As such, it makes sense for the meta description tag to be counted as a success factor.

Be forewarned, having a meta description tag doesn’t guarantee that your description will actually get used. Search engines may create different descriptions based on what they believe is most relevant for a particular query. But having one increases the odds that what you prefer will appear. And it’s easy to do. So do it. so there you have it MountainGold good luck and take care.

Very accurate, thank you.

I would say it's a combination of a lot of ty jigs including just Google trusti MG you more over time.

I like doing a site audit and trying to fix any errors it comes back with.

Other than that it's important to mold your content towards so as well

Inside wordpress my visual editor for posts is blank when I am trying to write a new article or edit an old one. Anyone know how to fix this?

This happens all the time and sometimes then offered solutions work...but often it just goes and then comes back....often linked to wp upgrades. The old clear your cache is suggested continually but makes not a blind bit of difference in the mystery of the invisible visual editor. Lol
J

Clear your browsing data.

Go to history, clean, and refresh, it should come back.

Great training renelynm et al.
Ed

I'm not sure, whether this will help. Use Ctrl F5. May be the caches already lost.

Ok....weird... it is randomly working now all around. Not sure why but I am happy it is working. I did clear my cache and try using different browsers but nothing was working. Now it is so thats cool. Thanks everyone for their help ill bookmark that post too!

See this all the time. Here is a blog to help you out.

check this one hope it helps you

Thank you for the help. I tried all of the solutions with no success so I put in a support ticket. Hopefully I can get it resolved soon and then I will update what worked. In the mean time I went and backed up my website just in case.

ok good luck :)
have you read this?

I have this question also. And I've tried to add different editors but none of them show up after activation. Anyone know what might be going on? Thanks

Thanks for the advice everyone. In my experience I have noticed that the issue exists in Firefox but not in Explorer or Chrome. Clearing the cache did not work for me. So now I work in Chrome when working on the site.

I'm trying to make a gravatar account and i'm using the email for my website but it says it is already connected to wordpress. which it is connected to my user. but when trying

I started my gravatar account at the feedback section where you have to pay it forward. I was prompted to start my gravatar account--it was easy.

Have you managed to resolve the issue with Pjlucas suggestion

Not yet I'm workin on it

You should use the password associated with Word Press, unless I am reading this wrong.. I just created mine last week and used my wordpress password only.. It was pretty straightforward after that. Please let me know if that helps..

Is it the password I use to access my website? The password I use to access my email for my website? Or did I create a WordPress password seperate? Cause I try to login with my website email and it says it's the wrong password. But if I try to use it for my gravitar creation it says the email is already in use and to login to wordpress. Once I get to wordpress it says all my passwords are wrong.. haha I'm so confused

No it is the Wordpress website password.. I am sorry. I have done this.. Go to Wordpress site and find your password.. Not your website but wordpress. Get that sorted out and the go to gravator and begin again. You should not have any more problems..

Resolved. I forgot my original WP login name and had to figure that part out before anything else. It's all resolved now and I have it written down with the rest of my info. Can't believe I forgot that but it happens. Thanks for the help!

So i've been fighting with getting this to work for a day or so now. I found the destination url's eventually and got to the point where I generated the code. The way to do it now

I would help if I could but chose not to do that yet.

No, you are doing it right. I had the same problem and reported to Kyle but still waiting for his reply

Alright thanks Rufat

Hey Anthony, someone else actually had the same question in another discussion. I think you should take a look at the responses and I'm sure you will find the answer. Here is the discussion:

I read that whole post and no one ever gave him an answer lol

Did you try any of the suggestions? Let me see if I can find a definitely answer...

I have even read that deal Kyle posted from Bing's website. Basically there were no suggestions. The whole thread was either the original author saying how nothing is working for him. There's a couple other people saying they have the same problem and then Kyle posts a thing from bing's website and says he would be looking to update the training at the beginning of 2015. Thanks for helping me flo. I have been searching all over WA and Google for answers.

Yeah, no luck here as well unfortunately :( Your welcome Anthony, I tried my best :)

So Ppc is one of my favorite things to study but I have ran into a hiccup. The boot camp training is from a while ago it seems and there is a lot of talk about .35 bids and .50 bid

There's a couple of things that go into how much you are paying per click with PPC. If a lot of people are bidding on the same keywords then that will drive the bid price up to even get your ad displayed.

I know Adwords has/had a quality score algorithm that evaluated how relevant your landing page was to the keywords that you were bidding on. The less related/relevant your landing is to the keywords you are bidding on the more you have to pay per click for those keywords.

Also, I think the higher your CTR is on your ads the better is for your campaigns.

Like I mentioned those things were relevant for Adwords, I don't know if BingAds implements the same types of measures though.

Interesting. Thanks for the input it helped for sure.

Hey there - i've also played with PPC. I find that bidding on the product name with an exact match does work - however can be a little expensive for WA. Make sure that you turn off the content network - this attracts traffic that is not directly from Bing / Yahoo and is generally of poorer quality. I got around 6 referrals and one sale from PPC and ended up paying £51 for the clicks.

That's $82 at current exhange rate. I guess it is about weighing up the value of the recurring commissions versus your initial outlay for the advertising.

Hope that helps :)

Paul

Your results are nearly the same as mine. It seems too expensive to be worth it. Possibly not. What was you avg CPC?

I was paying around 0.41 (pence) per click average - so that's around 75 cents I think - got a lot of clicks however

Alright thanks for the response. Do you mind me asking what countries you targeted?

No problem. Primarily English speaking countries as first language - and all tier 1 - so New Zeland, Australia, Canada, US and UK

Thanks for the input

I always bid at 0.30 maximum. Even if Bing recommends you to bid at $1 for your ad to show up in the top spots and you bid at 0.30 it doesn't mean that your ad won't show in the top spots. Like I said, I always bid between 0.20 -0.30 and my ad always shows up in the top spots.

Alright I will keep that in mind. Are you marking your keywords as exact match or broad? And is the campaign US only or world wide?

I choose worldwide to reach more audience and make my keywords as exact and phrase but when a keyword has a low traffic then I add broad too. And try to achieve CTR above 7% to pay less than 0.20 per click

Thanks Rufat. Have you had much success with referrals and sales from it yet?

I had some success. Once I paid $50, had 250 visits and got 4 starter referrals (I think one referral should go premium soon). Then I had another 250 visits and got 2 starter referrals. Then again 250 visits and 1 premium. Kyle says that it's hard to achieve the same level of success because it's a business. Today you can get 5 referrals and tomorrow only one ref. Recently I got 4 referrals for 4 days in a row. You need some time to see if you can make your ppc campaigns profitable. From my experience I can say that it's hard to make all campaigns equally profitable. Hope it helps.

For sure. Just getting other business minded peoples opinions helps me mentally. Thanks a ton man I'll be in touch.

Ideally, if you can get 3,4 starter sign ups and 1 premium from every 100 visitors, it's good. Anything less than that means your campaign is not profitable.

Sounds good I will keep that in mind
