“Hitting the wall” while running the online business race.
"The Wall"
It is well known that when running the marathon, before reaching the 26.2 miles of the whole race there is a point called “The wall” where the body and mind - and probably soul too - are prone to give up because nothing in the world seems to improve the performance, strength, speed but above all motivation to keep on.
Every possible stimulus, reward, hope, dreams seem suddenly have vanished. Then everything turns out so hard, every movement it’s suffering. It feels like real and acute pain, and the only desire that grows up in mind is to quit.
Online business is like a Marathon
I think the online business career is like a marathon. You have to run for a long distance and at some point in your journey one way or another you’ll find the wall. The problem is not knowing if the wall will appear or not because almost with certainty every successful marketer, as well as every successful person in the world, has experienced the wall somehow in their lives. “The wall” is going to be there, we want it or not.
When we are starting in this community with the Online Entrepreneur Certification or Affiliate Bootcamp courses although we work hard every day could bring and accomplishment of any kind because of doing the tasks. However, as soon as we finish the training, those accomplishments depend solely on the work that we decide for ourselves and the performance that such actions could do out there on the internet.
Wise management of time, effort and motivation
We have been told that if we keep on working hard, eventually in the time frame of six months to one year our website will get authority and our rankings will get better a better as the time goes on. The general idea is work hard for a while until results start to show.
No the problem here is that so many people hit the wall and think that is enough and they quit because cannot see that is just a moment and that success could be around the corner.
So the key as when running the marathon is to administer our resources: time and work wisely to have what it takes to hit the wall and overcome to reach the goal.

You have some good points there Tommy, that is probably where I was with so many of the other programs I had tried before you give up before you reach critical mass..it is so different here but it is also the mindset is different..thank you for reminding me
Wasn't it Ronald Reagan who said, "Tear down this wall".
When we hit a wall, and we know it is coming, be prepared mentally, and emotionally to tear down this wall.

This is exactly what I was thinking earlier as I finished level 3. It is satisfying to tick off the tasks from one lesson to the next but I am more than halfway through the course and think about the end that is getting closer and closer. I think we have to keep making goals and setting up a concrete plan to keep creating and learning on our own once the program is over. Thanks for sharing!
I can't argue with that logic Tonmy! It takes time and persistence to learn all that is needed to create a successful online business.
If it was easy everyone would be doing it, just like starting a traditional retail business.
