What is an SSL certificate and why do I need one? How do I get one?

If you're selling your own products directly off your site + collecting personal information (bank, credit card, home address, etc), then you should probably get one.

You'd have to purchase it, I believe. And you'd have to take to Kyle about it, I would think.

Okay I bought my first domain name. I know I asked already do you all recommend I build my first website in SiteRubix or try on my own through Namecheap? any pros and cons?

I recommend you build your first website.
Where you build it is up to you Tommy.
Not sure why you would not build it on SiteRubix
you already have the hosting included with your
membership. Why would you pay more to host with
Namecheap?

Okay. Yes. I'm totally new to all of this. I got the domain name now so when I was ready it would be available. I did see that there are charges through Namecheap so I guess I'll build my first page in SiteRubix. Thanks.

Tommy, I recommend this when you are ready to take
ownership of your own business.

Thanks again Ken.

My pleasure Tommy.

From anyone who has done it? Do you recommend the Affiliate program as a good first web page? Do you do well with it?

Sorry that I am not exactly the person you were asking this question, but I can say something about it from what I saw here on WA:

I think many are going this way.
Especially if they are not sure what niche they should pick instead.
And quite a few are succeeding with it.

For me it was very easy to think of a niche, so I started with a niche site which promotes products on Amazon and other partners.

Both ways are equally easy/difficult, I think.
If you can find good keywords, write great content to rank high on google and can convert visitors into buyers/subscribers, then you will succeed.

Mistakes will be made on the way, but with the help of the great training here on WA, diligence and patience everything is possible.

If you have a great passion you know a lot about, then you already have found your niche if you don't want to promote WA first.

Yes it just seems like it would be easier to hook new members being an affiliate. Proof positive for me is that I joined. Either way I have my top 3 niches picked out so I may start there given the length of training involved in the Bootcamp. Thank's for your thoughts.

It sometimes does seem like that, and I sometimes had the thought that I should start with my WA site soon, too.
But there are also many people who don't see that success quickly and have to work hard and long to get referrals.

It's great that you already have your niches.
Depending on your time you have to spare, I wouldn't do them all at once, though. (If you were planning to do so.)
I think it's always the best to focus on one site to be able to publish enough posts to get the site started.

I am a bit over 5 months here and still working on a single site only.

Good advice. I do want to do one at a time to put the time into it and move one once it is doing well.
