I'm 3 months into affiliate marketing. I have 5 niche sites. I have been creating blog posts daily. Each day I focus on one of the niches, create the blog post, create short

You may be spreading yourself thin unless, of course, you have a team.

The recommendation is to focus on ONE site starting as it takes lots of effort and works to get it going; however, once you know what you are doing, the learning curve would be less steep to scale up.

And it sounds like you have great responses here.

100% agree with Vitaliy.
Focus on one site. You’ll have 5 times as much content and traction focusing on the one as opposed to spread thin across 5.

How would you pick one of the 5 sites to focus on? Start with the one that has some traction with the best serpstat ranking and domain health ranking OR focus on the one that might be lagging a bit in ranking?

That's totally up to you. I'd choose the one I have the most interest in. If you stay at your pace then you'll be writing 5 articles per week on it. Choose the one you want to place your focus on and take off with it :)

I think one of the problems is that you're spreading yourself too thin. Having 5 niche sites and doing the work on all of them to make them grow the way they need to is no easy task for one person. It's better to focus on one site first and put in 5x the effort on that vs 1x the effort on 5.

It typically takes 3-6 months before ANY new niche site (considering it's doing all the right SEO stuff) gets good/consistent rankings due to whats known as the Google sandbox.

Another thing is, email marketing is itself a business on top a business and I personally think it's unnecessary for most people. I typically just focus on good content, getting people into WA or promoting affiliate products in general. Email marketing is a whole other beast to be best used for promoting potentially high ticket stuff or building a following/brand, an entirely new level on top of niche sites.

very helpful, thanks! While I don't have much activity on the email autoresponders, I don't spend much time with that. It's there but not my focus.

Hi - first of all, 3 months is really a very short space of time in Google's eyes.

In fact, most websites are abandoned at this stage, and Google needs to see that you have a long-term commitment.

Each individual article you write needs to be found by Google and indexed.

The final stage is when Google decides which page to display each article on in its search engine results pages.

The ultimate goal is to be placed on page 1, otherwise your site won't be found.

This is called ranking and can easily take 6 to 8 months.

During this period, your posts will fluctuate in the rankings as Google tests them against your competitors.

Are your posts entirely original—absolutely nothing copied and pasted?

Are you researching low-competition keywords?

Are your posts more helpful, more in-depth, more unique, more informative, and more up-to-date than your competitors?

Could your posts be seen as "thin content" by Google?

In other words, they are stuffed with affiliate links and written purposely to get sales rather than help people?

Are your posts focusing on a specific aspect of your niche and not just flitting from one random subject to another?

I am not sure why you are apparently adding one post per week to five sites rather than adding more posts weekly to just one site to build up authority and trust.

Hi Diane! Thanks for reaching out!

While my efforts have been mainly since February, all 5 sites are a couple years old but was not actively creating content during that time. Only in the past 3 months have I been adding content.

Some answers to your questions:

Are your posts entirely original—absolutely nothing copied and pasted?

Yes, however I do use AI to create some content ideas AND the content itself and then I either spin the article or adjust it a bit.

Are you researching low-competition keywords?
Yes! I'm not even bothering with high traffic keywords. I use Google Keyword planner and look for low traffic keywords especially if they are trending UP in the last 3 months and then focus my content around that.

Are your posts more helpful, more in-depth, more unique, more informative, and more up-to-date than your competitors?

I'd like to think so but perhaps my content is "meh".

Could your posts be seen as "thin content" by Google?
Perhaps. Which leads me back to my "meh" comment above.

Are your posts focusing on a specific aspect of your niche and not just flitting from one random subject to another?

I think my posts jump around the niche a bit but not solely focused on just one aspect.

I am not sure why you are apparently adding one post per week to five sites rather than adding more posts weekly to just one site to build up authority and trust.

And that's perhaps an error on my part. My thought was, focus on one niche site daily which would give each site fresh new content 1x per week. Are you suggesting focus on one niche for awhile and get daily content out for that?

Based on my experience, you should be adding a minimum of 10 posts per month, and preferably more, to one site.

These posts should be on one smaller aspect of your niche to build up topical authority and ensure Google sees you as an expert on that topic.

Perhaps 25 to 30 posts on that one subject, before doing the same again with another smaller topic.

And do be careful with AI, you need to humanise your posts with a good introduction, internal and external links, a conclusion, bullet points, a video, an info graphic or table, an author bio, etc.

And do read your competition on page 1 to analyse why they are ranking so highly.

Maybe you're spreading yourself too thin with five sites, maybe focus on one and no more than two. Give the one your time and focus; if you have followed the training here it will only be a matter of not if, but when those $500 days will come. They will come.

I remember when I started making about $100 a month consistently from my site. You couldn't tell me nothing lol! All I did was follow what was taught here, and in time the sales started coming. Patience and consistency will suit you very well.

Thanks! For training, are you referring to the Affiliate Bootcamp module?

Yes I am, I'm following the affiliate bootcamp

Vitaliy got you covered.

I suspect that You Tube is getting greedy, and it does not surprise me!

Unfortunately I see this happening a lot to people and appeals is really the only way to go (or perhaps a new channel), but this is why larger channels are able to get these problems solved while smaller channels have to deal with this.

This is also one of the reasons why I am never a fan of depending on social media or YouTube as my only source of income. One change up can ruin one's whole business and this is why I strongly recommend looking at other avenues for an online business (while trying to fix this of course).

I watch alot of you tube and have seen creators talking about their view dropping drastically in the last couple of months. And have heard others in the past talking about the same thing.

pretty annoying when you make the effort to abide by the guidelines and still get penalized. Sigh.

I have 5 landing pages/sites, each one a different niche that funnels to a Clickbank offer. I have some paid tools that can be directed towards one niche to promote. Out of t

Every single one of these, if you refine your approach slightly, can be very profitable. They all have a massive audience. What you'll find with the training here is it teaches us how to start very specific and then scale outward, and it works really, really well with conversions because when our audience arrives at content written around a tight, specific niche, they feel like it was written almost specifically for them, right? And that's what leads to conversions.

Then, as we grow, we can scale, and you have that potential easily with all of these.

Remember, even Amazon started with just books :)

I would choose one that you are most interested in / passionate about, and then tighten it up to choose a specific, narrow audience within that broad group.

Armed with that, you can follow the training and take off.

I think you're going to enjoy the training here.

I am still new to all of this, but I watched a lot of videos & webinars before signing back up with WA. One thing that somebody was teaching about niches really got my attention. The Top 3, according to one of the gurus (Keala Kanae), are allegedly:

#1 Money & Wealth
#2 Health & Wellness
#3 Love & Relationships

I have no clue how to verify that.

A lot of those seem to be high competition niches, Tom! Pick the one you lie best and are able to narrow down to a specific part. That would be what I would do!

Jeff

All of these broad topics are good topics, but they are too board for a niche. Which one are you most passionate about? The more knowledge you have about it and experience with it the easier it is to connect with a targeted group of people.

Who would be your targeted audience? You will be writing content posts to help a targeted group of people. This is different from funnel paid traffic. This is growing your traffic by organic searches. Vitaliy has a good explanation of this.

To succeed it is not all about making money, It is about helping people - finding solutions for problems Helping leads to trust and trust leads to sales.

Hi Tom so a few things:

1) Most of the topics you listed are not niches but are broad topics.

2) The best niche to choose is the one you love and have experience with. Here is a tutorial on how to do that: 3) the funnel method you mentioned is very often preached but requires way more than it sounds to succeed. In this case, you would have to get paid traffic to the pages and hope.it converts (it's expensive and a lot tougher to pull off than it sounds).

I would strongly recommend doing the main WA training which teaches how to get targeted traffic for free to your site. It takes time and hard work but it's the way better approach to online success if you're new.

Let me know if you have any questions!
