Dear fans, as promised, here is chapter 2 of The Doorway Chronicles. Enjoy the suspense and mysterious chapter, in addition I created 2 artistically photos by myself for this extra ordinary story for you! Unfortunately the black doesn't appear to be black completely although in my painting programs it does. No idea why it looks different here in the WA editor, perhaps someone here can tell me why, it is a mystery. Enjoy!

The Doorway Chronicles: The Lost Boy!

Chapter 2!

Just after I entered the room, the door shut behind me and I was standing in a dark room. I said: “John, can you turn on the light please?”, but John was not there, it seemed I went through alone. I tried to focus by not moving and to see if I can see at least some light somehow. But it was all black, blacker than black, like nothing existed at all. The air felt cold and I could feel a light breeze blowing in my face. What to do next, I thought, what is this room, why is it so dark in here and why did John let me enter this room? Then I remembered I smoked a good cigar yesterday, perhaps I got my lighter with me. I felt in my pockets and….. yes, I got lucky. When I turned it on and tried to look around the only thing I saw, was the burning flame in the room. I decided to follow the direction of the breeze; it was good to have my lighter with me as it gave me an indication where to go. Then I heard a voice from the direction I was walking too. It sounded like a little boy mumbling around. While I walked in the direction of the voice, it felt like the room expanded and got bigger, my footsteps gave a light echo and for a moment I had the idea I was not alone as if there would be someone here walking with me. Or was it really only the echo? The closer I came I noticed Stars appearing shimmering in the dark, they were everywhere. The voices of the boy got louder: “where am I …. Help….. I am afraid…..I don’t know…. Why….”. The nearer I came the more stars were appearing and before I knew it I was walking inside a universe with thousands of stars. It was unbelievable beautiful. The colors were bright pink, purple and everything looked so bright. Is this how it looks when we travel with a spaceship through the universe? The voices went louder and louder and while I was walking towards the voice, it looked like a shade or form was flying in front of me. “Help me…. Help me…. I am …. I don’t know …. Where am I …. I am afraid….. help me…” The closer I came the bigger the kind of shade appeared in front of me.

The shade formed into a kind of ghost form and I saw a part of a little boy floating in front of me. It was a bit frightened seeing this boy, his face had black eyes and only a part of his body was visible. “help me ….. help me…. I do …. Where am I …. What ….” Standing in front of him I looked up and asked him: “Who are you? Where are we?” The boy reacted on my voice, looked at me and said: “Are you the savior? Will you save me? I am … I don’t know …. I am lost …… I cannot remember …. Afraid …. Please help…” The boy sounded frightened so I asked “How can I help you, where are we?” The boy got silent as there was a sudden noise sounding like a horn. Then the boy said: “Oh noo…. Noo… he is coming ….. help help me…. You need to help me….” I didn't understand what he meant, but I saw his shade was fading, he said: “I remember…. I am lost …. I was wrong …… sorry …. Help me…. Look …. Look for the Garden of Whispers…. Save me…. S a. a…v.je p jl…” His voice and his shade started to fade away and all the sudden he was gone. I wondered what he meant with the Garden of Whispers and what happened to him, who was he, where did he come from and why was he a kind of ghost? While I was thinking what just happened, I got all the sudden interrupted by another boom and saw a kind of black darkness with orange shimmering fluctuating circles on my right. I decided to walk over to investigate what just happened. The closer I came I could see that those orange fluctuate circles looked like a kind of portals. Then a voice appeared from the black darkness where the portals appeared: “In the light of darkness, I am the keeper, come closer stranger”

While I walked into the direction of the portals, all the sudden a strange being appeared out of the darkness. He looked like humanoid but worn a strange mask with stones or were it eyes? I asked: “Who are you?”, he said: “My name is Caecilius and I am the Keeper of Whispers, you have come a long way, tell me what do you seek?”. I asked him where I am and who was that boy who appeared to me. He spoke in a mysterious way to me and told me that the boy is not of my concern. He is the keeper of whispers and I need to choose if I will take the portal of silence or the portal of the realm, both will lead you to the answer, the answer where you want to be, but choose wisely or you shall never return to the world you know. Thinking of what he said, I tried to figure out how to get to the Garden of Whispers and help the boy. Perhaps it will lead to the disappearing of the other marketers. The portal of the realm sounded like my final destination, the heart of the realm? Could it be so easy or was it a trick? Better I take the portal of silence and so I went through.

When I stepped into the portal I felt like falling through time seeing the many different colors around me changing continuously and before I knew it I landed in another room. It was a beautiful room with all kind of antiques and beautiful paintings. Then out of nowhere a beautiful woman appeared and greeted me. She said: “You arrived, welcome my name is Annabel, we have been waiting for you….”
