Thanks! I love Yoast.

Happy to hear that :)

Have a great week,

Stefan

Thanks, Toli, I am using Yoast on one of my sites and I like it very much. Time to add Yoast to other sites.

John

Yup John,

If you need no pro, Yoast is awesome!

Stefan :))

ok. I have just read about this SEO Toast 7 but I don't know how do I go about using it, and how to install, although I have the all in one SEO. Do I have to activate the SEO for every single post that I make?

If you have All in One, stay with it. Both are not compatible and you would have to redo all your SEO work.

Ok. Thanks. Also, another question: Do I have to SEO all my posts or pages that I publish, or is the all-in-one automatic for everything? I ask because when I select a post or page to edit, beside the edit post option, in my dashboard, I see the option SEO.

Hi, well I can't tell you as i cannot use All in One, it is not compatible with my website.

I suggest you ask in the live chat now or put up a question within WA.

Stefan

Thank you for mentioning that! I was going to install it, but now see that I cannot ... I already have the All in One. : )

You are welcome, do you like All in One?

Hmmm ...question ? Why are people using Yeost when we get all in One SEO included and recommended at WA?
This is a serious question as I am confused by why people are using Yeost ?
Should I swap and Why ?
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

it is a matter of personal preference. Both of them are free, and can do more or less the same. Personally, I prefer all in one and think it is more user-friendly. So if you are happy with all in one, there is no need to change.

I checked out the new yoast earlier today, and I am honestly still not impressed:-)

All the best,
Mikael

As Mikael said, depending on preference and compatibility, in my case my premium themes are not compatible with All in One.

So if you ever buy a theme, look if you can use All in One if you want to continue working with that plug in.

Now both are good, Jay prefers Yoast, and he only uses Yoast, I guess he has his reasons too.... :))

Stefan

Yup, I will go back to my WP META SEO :)) that is my favorite.

Everyone his.

Stefan :))

Just installed and activated. Thanks for the heads up!

You are welcome George,

Stefan :))

Thanks, Stefan. I updated this morning.
Best regards

Great David,

And what is your experience so far?

Stefan

None, Stefan. Haven't perused as yet. Will let you know.:)

Cool, thanks, I think I will go back to my other tool I am already using, still easier as Yoast. :))

What happened Stefan

My other tool has a much better 404 redirecting service and the mass editor is also better.

And the pro is half the price of Yoast... :))

ok...you promoted it so enthusiastically, I thought you were sold:).

Well Yoast has a good spelling tool with the traffic lights, I worked with Yoast before and really liked it.

If it would not be for that stupid expensive pro upgrade to cover 404 and other relinking, which is complicated to work with, I would have kept Yoast.

So if you do not need that, Yoast is awesome.

That is all :))

Try Pro for the fun, you can give it back within 30 days.... ;-) lol

:) I will check it out but I usually don't bother with trials unless I am seriously going to move forward.
Thanks!

Well that it the issue, it is not a trail, but a money back guarantee. Yoast has had no examples how that 404 relinking works, nor screenshots, so it was a blind deal for me when I bought it. I was very disappointed as it was not in comparison to the good and intuitive way of using Yoast itself. I wanted to keep Yoast, but it was too complicated the way they described how to use it. The other tool is so simple, a difference between day and night and only half the price, so I had to say Yoast adee....

Stefan :)

Fair enough. Functionality is more important than anything else...

So I ask myself now why Yoast did not improve v7.0??? A real mystery....

For active websites, I need this functionality, auto relink function is awesome and it sends me an email as well to inform me if there is an issue. :))

Now if you have a normal not that busy blogging site you might do it without I guess.

Or what are you up to now, with or without auto-linking David?

I thought I read somewhere that YOAST automatically detects and takes care of all redirects?

You need the redirect manager, which is in the premium only and when I bought it, was too difficult to setup....

I see!

Great! :))

Thanks!!!

My pleasure, I thought I let you people know it is out now.

Stefan :))

Thanks for the update Stefan.

Tried and true

Elaine

Hi Elaine,

You are very much welcome.

All the best and have a great week,

Stefan

Already installed it!

Yup here too, going through with the Yoast documentation to see what is new and improved... I decided to wait till beta is over...

Stefan

Is there any cost for this upgrade. My site is not bringing in anything yet.

No costs for the upgrade, it is free. And if you are a new user it is free too.

If you have Yoast 6 on your website, it shows you there is an update.

Stefan

Thank you Stefan

You are welcome,

Will Yoast be your first SEO tool?
