So let's get to todays bonus topic. Has anyone of you heard of Google News? Yes you may guessed it right already, Google News is another service from Google and can help you get your blog news articles out there on a special Google News platform.
Above news I wrote, could have been such a news article to appear on Google News.
This is a great way to expose your latest blog and attract new readership to your website. The service is used by many and the articles appear like a scroll down page where you can select the topic category on your left and then see the latest blog post articles shared by those who signed up for this service.
It is another way to tell Google you have great content. This will not only increase the ranking of your blogs, but it will also lead to increased traffic to your website as people will have to click on the article to read it all and in this way get lead to your website.
The service is great, and anyone of you should have a look at it to integrate it in their business, which will pay back over time as many go there to see the latest news on many topics.

Google News! How To Apply!
This is very simple, just login with your Google account and add your website to Google News. The Google bot crawler will crawl your website and pull your articles automaticly on the Google News platform.
Google will check your website if you comply to their regulations before adding you. So make sure you comply:
- Make sure your site complies with their content polices.
- Review the technical News index guidelines.
If you are a licensed news Producer, you can sign up for additional benefits and make use of a monetization package bringing you in extra revenues.
Otherwise just sign up as a Publisher.

Very useful information you have provided here.
I suggest you could have gone a step further by adding some training on where and how to set this up.
However, I found the answer by a Google search, "how to add my website to google news" and up popped the Google help text to complete this task.

Google News doesn't love me, Stefan. I got a flat out rejection!

Yes, I like that one as well, and Google Trends as well Google Trends Tracking are excellent to pull new ideas from.
When was fairly new and wanted some help I found there bite size videos helpful and certain aspects of google analytics took me awile to get my head around stuff I am guilty of overthinking stuff
