Since I already had a blog long before I joined WA I decided to buy a domain name here on WA Premium and experiment to see how things go from a traffic standpoint.

I started my first niche site here on WA roughly forty days ago, while I started my first blog nine months ago.

I thought of just bringing my blog over here to WA but first I looked to experiment just to see how fast one could build traffic here at WA with a niche site.

The First Three Weeks

As predicted, over the first three weeks, my blog outside WA held strong while my blog here at WA had a tough time gaining traction.

Again, this was predictable as with any blog and niche site just starting off, growing pains are expected while my somewhat established blog off WA already had a small audience. Nothing crazy, but still decent enough to get daily traffic.

I add between 4 to 6 articles per week on my existing blog and on my niche stie here at WA, I added the content, sometimes spending up to ten hours a day adding pages and a few articles to share via social media and add to SEO.

Week Four

As you might recall, I wrote a blog a few weeks back stating I got some nominal traffic onto my first niche site.

What I didn't expect was the pace at which the traffic evolved, where Week Four the tide changed dramatically.

While I still saw traffic to my established blog, my blog here at WA came close to and even tied the amount of traffic I got during Week Four.

Again, my non-WA site still has decent traffic, it's not a crazy amount, with maybe 1,000 visitors per month, but really anywhere between 500 to 1,000.

My WA site toward the end of October would've been on pace here, too.

Today

Fast forward to today and my WA niche site is seeing almost twice as much traffic as my non-WA hosted site.

Insane.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see 1,300 to 1,500 visitors on my niche site, and this is all without much visibility on the social media platforms...yet!

It's really all about adding content and staying relevant to my niche.

But the numbers don't lie; the training I received here at WA definitely did wonders when building the content for the site.

What Did I Do?

I'll be the first to commend the community here at WA provides a huge help. The give and take, pay it forward method is your best friend, plus the site feedback given here at WA. When you give your time to read articles of other members, give feedback, and stay active throughout WA, you will get rewarded early and often.

Earn WA tokens in the Site Comments and Site Feedback sections, which will guarantee high quality, helpful comments.

I make it a point each day to give comments before asking for comments for some of my underperforming posts.

This is your best tool for traffic, by far, as Google and other search engines love site activity, and it's just what you're getting here.

Also, use the Jaaxy keyword tool and use it often. Write your lists and refer to them before each article. Go for the low-hanging fruit, which are low-competition and decent traffic keywords.

Always use the keywords in the title and first paragraph of your article and write at least 1,000 words on most occasions and Google will reward you.

And make sure your site is easy to navigate with contrasting colors in your theme, which will be easier on the readers' eyes and more visible as well.

Work on your site often each week, as often as you can.

I recommend three to four new posts per week and you'll be good to go.

Always remain a student and implement everything you learn.

Go For It

So, the conclusion of this experiment is simple: I've seen far more traffic, almost twice as much on my WA niche site after only 40 days whereas my blog is struggling to keep pace.

The decision is easy: I'm buying the domain to my existing blog here at WA because it's proven to be more traffic-friendly.

This will allow us to be engaging, get indexed faster into Google, receive more trust from Google, and monetize our sites.

My WA journey is still in its early stages, but three's a lot and I mean a lot of positivity here. I can't wait to see what's in store once I implement these tactics into future niche sites and I'll be sure to keep you updated.
