Four Months Here At WA

This is not so much of a success post has a reflection post. I have passed the 3 month mark and have felt like quitting. I know it takes time and work but I become so frustrated.

Life Keeps Interrupting

I have slowed down on working on my site as life has interrupted. The garden is needing my attention and I can't let it go to waste. We have been having to pick green beans every other

day.

In years past I have canned but now that my kids are gone and it is just my husband and me I see no need. Now we are picking and cooking some but giving away the excess.

Also I have been needed more at work. The shortage of nurses has us all working more hours. I was on a medical leave for several months and my doc let me go back to work part time. But now she has allowed me to pick up more hours.

Now I feel I am at work more than I am at home. There are just not enough hours in a day.

Progress So Far

I have 28 posts and 3 pages on my website with 24 of them indexed by google. I am currently trying to write another post, but I have been getting distracted easily.

I am on level 4 in the training but have decided to take a break from the training and go through Jay's webinars.

A Break

Today I took a much needed break and went to my grandson's baseball game. This will be his last year playing. (he's 17). Then my husband made hamburgers and potatoes on the grill and I fried zucchini for supper this evening. Both the potatoes and zucchini were out of our garden.

Now It's Time To Get Back To Work

I am going to try and write the post that has been in my head the last couple of days. I may be up late and hoping for no more interruptions. One can only hope. If anyone has any good techniques to help a person stay on track please let me know in the comments below. I need all the help I can get. I am not giving up!

Have a wonderful day, evening, night wherever you are!

That's awesome, eating fresh veggies from your garden, WE only have cherry tomatoes and I love them!

That's also my struggle, finding time to write posts with full time job , family and community stuff. For me, life goes on and slowly, I will get there. Patience, consistency an perseverance are the keys to success

AS long as I'm productive everyday, be it in all or most of my responsibilities, I'm happy! No reason to be frustrated.

Good luck!

Marita

Hi Taianne, it can be hard to keep the momentum going, sometimes relaxing and taking time with family can be just the tonic that we need.
Best wishes moving forward.

Thank you. I worry about getting posts written that I wind up procrastinating:)

We can all do that, so you are not alone, one of the best remedies is just to write every day even if it is only a little bit. doing that helps us to build momentum, it kind of works really well.

Best wishes.

Hi There! I can relate to getting off track. My kids are on summer break and hubby is on vacation. I have gotten zero work done this last week.

As for advice, I would say get a planner and schedule time to work on your website just like you would schedule time for work.

Good luck and I wish you great success!

Bridget

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I may misunderstood that.
Best Wishes
Tai

Oops, meant to say I may just do that:)

I remember picking and canning green beans!

I use to love going to the garden to pick greens, now that I am older, not so much!
