I am just worried about if this is just a very high tech pyramid scheme. No disrespect intended. Just curious

Worth every cent. You will not find another forum on the internet that offers the education and tools to learn and earn.

Hey Tracy,

The premium membership is purely optional. It's not a requirement. A pyramid scheme requires members to recruit members to make money. Members here in WA can and are creating websites around various niches that don't involve promoting WA to make money. So no it's not a pyramid scheme. What you're seeing is that so many members find value in what WA teaches, that they want to share it with others. And WA happens to have an affiliate program that pays folks for doing that if they choose. But they're not required to do so.

Amazon has an affiliate program as well. You can shop at amazon or you can promote it. It's up to you. The same goes here at WA.

That said the reason premium is encouraged is for people that want more training, support and help. Obviously there is a cost to provide that like there would be for a college. Except here the cost isn't going to put you in debt for years to come. So i hope that makes this clear.

I also wrote an article about the costs involved in a membership here. Because sometimes people feel its too expensive without considering what I listed here: And I've also listed what your premium membership can lead to outside of creating a business here:

Very well put Eddy. Should put this in lesson 1 for starter members. Been reading alot of your tutorials. Thanks for the inspiration.

Mark

No it is not a pyramid scheme. It is a community of people all helping each other to build their online business. The training is only one small part of the equation.
As you work through the starter training you will get a couple of websites up and running. At any time you can read blogs by members which often contain trainings and hints and tips to help everyone. You will see these on the main dashboard. Previous ones can be found by typing a couple of words into the search bar at the top of the dashboard. Starter members can read but not comment. You are encouraged to join premium as the rest of the website had so much to offer. There are webinars, more training, member trainings, encouragement, and help every step of the way through your journey. All types of online businesses are covered including affiliate marketing, email marketing, e-commerce, blogging, website building, social media and so much more.
This really is a community of wonderful people all helping each other build their business. You get emails and welcomes because you are being encouraged so that you don't feel you are on your own.

Tracy,
I have been here for 5 months and the only thing that I have
purchased are my own domain names - the WA Premium
Membership pays for all the training, websites, hosting, tools
for research, Live Training every week with Jay, Live Chat
24/7, Site Support, etc. there is too many benefits to even
put them all here.
Pyramid Scheme that is a far cry from the guy at the top
making all the money and keep recruiting and never make
any for you-you can promote whatever you want in your
website it does not have to be WA - but I must admit the
commission is nice :)
But hey - Affiliate Marketing is not for everyone just saying
and no one is ever going to force you to upgrade you can
remain a FREE member as long as you wish with 2 free
websites and hosting paid for by WA for as long as you
remain active within the community.
Susan

PS Hope this makes you realize you can either build yourself
a great online profitable business or walk away the choice is up
to you.

How could it be a pyramid scheme? There is only either the free membership or the paid membership. There are no levels of membership or continuous upsells. No one builds downlines and sales teams.

WA has an affiliate program yes, but it works the same way as every other regular affiliate program out there.

Many people who go through the training here create profitable niche websites that don't even promote Wealthy Affiliate.

Dylan is a great example. He builds niche websites with "best of" lists and monetises his sites with Amazon products. It's good that you question things though. That will help you avoid any of the online scams out there.

Well put.

Mark

It may seem like that but it's not. I do believe Kyle and Carson want members to succeed. I mean only $49 a month for unlimited access to training that most gurus charge thousands for? I'm sure they make money off of the members when they join premium and continue to make payments but they could charge a lot more.

Seems so far that the premium membership is really pushed, especially with the tools for the website
