Once you refer someone to the great community here at WA, what can we do to help them take it to the next level. Is it normal for people to sign up, and then do nothing? I mean

How many times have you walked in a store, taken a look around, and walked out without buying anything? It's the same concept online, for whatever reason they just didn't feel like pursuing it any further.

True words!

Great topic and I get the point. Thanks for sharing.

Do you mention the first thing to do is click the get started button? That's what drew my attention...getting started right away. A lot of people don't look at tours they just click--I'm very guilty of that myself. What impressed me about the community was the speed at which I was greeted. The main thing is that they get started--if they don't get started they have no reason to stay. Sometimes people are just curious, click, then they are at a loss of what to do next. There's always going to be the few that just want to see what it's all about and have no intention of staying.

Thank you! Great idea. I must have been an easy sale on the premium membership lol. I got started right away ha.

Me too!! Best wishes!!

I think many referrals just take a look at the site out of curiosity and are kind of overwhelmed by the scope of what they see. Many are just looking for a get rich quick thing. You are correct in thinking you should introduce yourself. I write periodically through the referral page here just in case they look at it. WA indicates that there is about a 12% conversion rate. I have found mine to be lower.

Yes I noticed that too, I think it says 1 in 8 now. I want to contact them all the time to show them all the great things, but I know that is like holding your baby so tight it can't breath. I just don't think I got a lot of help and I want to share that so people don't get overwhelmed and discouraged. This has been a fun ride for me. Thanks for sharing your experience. Actually I have a question. How soon do most people make a decision?

Does CommentLuv still work in 2017 or does google penalize you for using it? If it works, can anyone tell me how to search High PR and PA pages that use this plugin?

I love the idea. I recently read Google is trying to differentiate real promotion vs self promoting. including comment and Anchor text links. Last thing you want to do when you spend all the time getting your site set up, content raring, ready for visitors... then you chop your own legs off... :o) Anyone else with experience in this realm??

Hi Triblu, thanks for the comment. This plugin is about backlinks not about content.

If you comment on sites that have the commentluv plugin you can post your website link along with your comment. Make sense?

Therefore Google has suggested they may not see this type of backlink as legitimate authority linking.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen success with commentluv or if they feel using the plugin has hurt their efforts.

I don't have any questions about content writing. I wrote an in depth page on Thought Leadership, so I certainly agree with your statement Triblu. :o)

I am just looking for info regarding experience with the CommentLuv plug in and if they feel it has increased their visibility or hindered it.

Anyone here ever USE this plugin and can share their experience with it?

Thanks Triblu. I agree that this may be considered more of a self promoting backlink. I am testing it, so I can't tell you if it works.

This is pretty much what I am asking for from the members...

I'm not seeking an opinion, so if I didn't communicate this appropriately my apologies.

I am looking for someone that has actual experience using this AND if they found it to be a help or a hindrance as of the last year or so.

Thanks everyone!

Tmanzolillo; I have not test this as yet so I cannot give you a helpful answer

I think it will be fine, just test it though.
