Greetings,

I'm Todd and I was an Occupational Therapist that fell in love with learning Spanish, traveling, South America and Colombia. Lived 6 years in Medellin, Colombia, traveling and that's when I found Wealthy Affiliate.

Thanks to the training I've received here at WA, I was able to create and run a successful online business that now runs mostly at a passive level (maybe I work 5-10 hours per month on my site/online biz).

I've been a WA member for 6 years now. It's been an awesome experience of learning how to develop my skills creating websites, writing content, becoming a better marketer, and realizing my dreams of making money online.

The key is building website traffic - You'll learn all about that in the lessons to come.

Don't forget to catch Jay's weekly Webinars - they're loaded with gems of knowledge to increase your online traffic & profits.

I took it one day at a time and each day my online business improved. If you never take a chance; never take action, you'll never get anywhere, but if you take a chance and bet on yourself, follow the training here, you'll be incredibly surprised at what you can create.

It's a beautiful thing. To your happiness and success.

Salud,
Todd

The thing about online success that I have come to learn is that there is room for ALL of us within the online world. There is no marketplace that is bigger and there is nowhere that represents this kind of opportunity, regardless of your niche, passions and interests (and it only continues to grow!!)

Take action on the training here at WA, immerse yourself within the awesome and helpful community here at WA... and ask for help when you need it. You will be well on your way to achieve your goals Todd!

Thanks for the encouragement. I am a retired registered nurse. I just want to make money from home to supplement my retirement income. I hope that I am successful with this program. I have tried several other internet systems that turned out to be scams
that I am leary of the different ones. I pray that this one is for real. I am also helping my granddaughter go to college. Her name is Carley and she is majoring in Chemistry Education. She has a heavy load of classes. She is living on campus during the school year and with us during the summer. We are her legal guardians since she was 2 years old. She is going to the University of Central Missouri.
Thanks again for the encouragement.

Hey Judith,

This is about as real as any program gets. That doesn't mean success is guaranteed. You have to take the classes, take action on what you learn, do the assignments and work at it.

But yes, everything Wealthy Affiliate teaches works very well. Go into this like a college student with an open mind to learn and you'll do great.

I make the college reference quit a bit because I think it's crazy how many college students go off to college, spend 4 years and end up with no discernible job skills and 100K debt. This is just like a college but it's super cheap and at the end of my 4 years (coming up in May) and I have created a passive income source and full time online income.

Imagine if colleges could advertise this - amazing.

Anyways, you've got everything you need right here to make your goals a reality, you just got to put in the work.

Thanks,
Todd

Hi Todd, In building a website do I need to let people know my real profile or should I just display my profile as administrator. To tell you honestly I'm a little reluctant to expose myself not until I succeeded... I'm not a bad guy, an outlaw or someone who wants to scam anyone. I just want to avoid embarrassment from those who know me. I would appreciate your advice..

Just keep it as Admin, it really doesn't matter. Later, you'll make a gravatar so that you have a little picture like here at WA for when you comment on someone's site or answer comments on your site (you also don't have to do that either).

But most sites, or should I say most users, want to know who's behind the site. So you need a good About Page.

I'm still Admin for my main site and it doesn't matter.

There's many site owners here who have a caricature of some sort to represent their online profile, you can do the same.

Hi Todd,
I've been thinking for about three months on what I can do to make a living that suits my lifestyle. Right now, I have a Rolfing/Massage business out of my home. Been doing bodywork for 26 years. Love it, but the economy in this area of the country is not good, and I am slowly sinking into obscurity. So, seeing that you did OT work and you live in Columbia (which I have been thinking about for a year) made me click the button. I have the time to dedicate to this because business is slow. I have friends that live just east of Medillin. Hope to visit them soon. Anyway, thanks for the connection. Peace and be well.

Nice, I love opportunities like these, where you can test out a new profession.

It wasn't more than a decade ago I was feeling a bit burned out with OT. My burnout was my inspiration. I thought, why can't I teach what I give my patients on a daily basis.

Now I'm so happy to be where I'm at in life. My online business just continues to flourish and I'm really excited about 2018. Eventually I'll get back to my therapyboy.com site, but my current site is just too exciting right now.

Anyways, go for it if this suites you. If not, you could go with eCommerce. Let me know if you need any info on that or sign up for our free training course...

Thanks for following me! Wow that is very impressive to be ranked in the top 200. So, have you made good money with you business? I am new here to the community, so I have a lot to learn. I am very excited to be here though and look forward to seeing where my business goes. I doubt I will ever rank that high though. I may need some help at some point because I'm sure I will need some advise because I am completely new to online marketing.

Just follow the training and you’ll do great. Don’t worry about rank either. Focus on the training and help others if you can.

But the focus here is you and your online business.

As for the money thing, I make full-time income online and have been doing so for a couple years now. My best day so far has been $5,000 dollars. And just the other day I made $1965 and some change.

My current six-month goal is to consistently be at $10,000 per month.

It’s all about setting good short term and long term goals and then take action on them to make it happen.

Anyone can do it, you just got to put your mind to it and follow the training here.

Hi; Can you help me with this one? I stopped compiling my "About Me" content about half-way thru. I "Saved" and it auto Saves, so I wasn't too worried. But, when I went back in, I couldn't get to the same place I left off. How do I get back to this mid-way point? Or, do I have to start all over, again.

P.S. I msg'd Kyle about this, yesterday, but he hasn't responded.

Hi Clare,
I think you'll get a quicker response to these types of questions within the community forums here. Many times you can type a search here (white box above) and come up with tutorials about the subject.

Usually in WP posts/pages, you have a history section up on the right side by the date published. You can go into this and see what time frames have been saved and go from there.

Some people compose their posts/pages here with Site Content (Left Hand menu in Site Rubix link) or just using a document of their own like Word.

I just publish and edit from WordPress. But believe me, I've had to re write a number of things after coming into the online business world. Call it practice if that helps.

Best,
Todd
