I joined a few days ago and haven't had time to start the training yet, and I am still on the free membership deal. I'm considering the pros/cons of signing up for premium mem
What's the field? Some companies require that you have a previously existing site before they approve you.
My original field idea is personal development. I don't have any particular sites in mind - I just wondered whether this site restricted you to certain affiliate sites. Thanks for your response.
There is absolutely nothing stopping you from signing up with private sites. I'm a member of a few myself. If they are in your niche the worst that can happen is they can say no! As I said, I've signed up to numerous ones over the years, some I still promote, others I found weren't worth my time or energy.

Okay, so I'm going to play devil's advocate here!
I understand the basics of affiliate marketing. I know how to set up and design wordpress websites from scratch. I c
Thanks for your responses. I already have a hosting package with SiteGround, so I'm not sure the hosting is an advantage to me. However, help and support from other marketers might be. Food for thought, so thanks!
It's a perfectly valid question and one you're right to ask. You can get a great deal of information on the internet that will not cost you anything. As you say youtube is one such example. One of the problems can be is that sometimes you don't know which of the many examples you should be listening to. There is some great information and some very poor to the point where it could screw up your site if you followed their advice. If you want to spend some time trawling making sure you pick the right stuff - that's an option. It will generally only cost you time but it will be money if you get it wrong.
I think the advantages of being a premium member is able to access up to date information and get feedback from people who are already very successful. Yes sometimes you still have to 'trawl' and avoid those that think they know what they are talking about when they don't but I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
I'm all for looking at the advantages and disadvantages of any situation and then making a decision. I think it's such a personal thing and only you can tell if it's right for you. Personally, I think it's worth trying for a month and then making a decision. It's not right for everyone.
Good luck whatever you decide.
You get a killer hosting package that you would have to find elsewhere. You get help every step of the way from other members willing to answer your questions (such as this). Instead of searching the entire web for the info you need its all right here. On top of that, the price is only slightly higher than you would pay just for hosting. It was worth it for me.
What are the advantages of wealthy affiliate?

Hi, the all-in-one SEO plugin will work for all your content, past and present. Once you submit your sitemap to google it will see all of your content.
I hope this helps?
Yes, that's great, just what I wanted to hear, thank you :-)
