A Poem: Able and Brad and Charlie and Dag
A Poem: Able and Brad and Charlie and Dag
by

Four blokes went out
To find a path
That would show the way
To instant cash.
Abel
Able took off ,
Without telling the others.
He was lost but found
By a guru all dressed in black leather.
Said the guru to Abel,
To Abel’s delight,
“I made $10,000
In only one night!”
So the guru took Abel,
One trick at a time,
Grabbed him by the heels
And shook out his last dime.
Brad
Brad was smart,
The inquisitive type.
He knew what he wanted
And it had to be right.
Brad to chose the program,
He made a huge chart.
To Brad picking programs
Was reduced to an art.
But the process engulfed him,
It was his path to be right.
He finally decided but one thing to do,
He joined the swindlers and became a guru.
Charlie
Young Charlie came here
To Hard Work Land.
He put up a website,
Then sat on his hands.
He read all the lessons,
But skipped the hard task.
At the end of the race,
He came in last.
Dag
Dag came here too,
He worked through the task.
He asked other members to see what they knew.
He did what he started and always followed through.
In the end, it was Dag
Who won the great race,
Abel, Brad, and Charlie,
Couldn’t keep up to the pace.
The End
