Finding the time.

When you're doing the blogging thing as a side-gig, it can be a real effort to make the space and time to do it right. It gets especially hairy during the holidays.

I haven't yet figured out how to mitigate the crunch. Have any of you?

I'd really be interested in hearing some suggestions....

Hello Netta,
I also here are in crisis the best to keep pushing ..

Keep on, Claudiojuan!

I have addressed that in a post earlier today here .

I only got a single comment, which is fine, it doesn't bother me, apparently no one here at WA has issues with blog posts and content creation.

On the other hand, since you have asked about it, I will tell you how easy and affordable it is, especially during Cyber Monday.

Less than the cost of an average SINGLE cup of Starbucks coffee in the US. Repeat, a SINGLE one time very low payment.

I am however not talking about any of the content creation outsourcing services out there, rather a solid proven software which integrates well with WP which one can use over and over again and fully resolve the content creation relates issues of time, effort, costs and frustration.

Your time and money will be not only saved but maximized while still getting a constant flow of original content posts and and royalty free photos, within a few clicks.

Anyway, I will stop here, based on the lack of response to my earlier post, it seems that some would rather spend the money on a more expensive cup of coffee every day while still struggling with content creation every day.

Blessings!

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my question! I do appreciate it.

Probably the only thing that I wouldn't change is how I do my posts. I'm developing my own voice and content creation is the fun part for me in all this. Other parts, not so much....

I was just wondering how other people fit in all they have to do to make their blogs real and the decisions and systems they put into place so that the blogs work well for their purposes (while also doing other life-things).

Thanks for trying to help, though....

I bought me a chromebook and backpack. My laptop goes wherever I go. I get work done while taking a break at the gym, riding the bus, over lunch. Just an hour and a half a day doing this is like a 40 hour work week on WA at the end of the month.

That's cool, Mark. Finding the little spaces to get small bits done would probably work better with a laptop.

Thanks!

I might have to break down and get a chrome book Mark!

Jeff

$200 at Target. No problems with it at all.

Any specific model, Mark?

Jeff

Acer.

Thanks!

Jeff

I honestly just go with the flow. There is not a major sense of urgency for me. I know where I want to go, and right now, there are many things I'm looking into doing here, so it'll be interesting to say the least. I like it that it is work at your own pace! Just my two cents!

Jeff

Jeff, you are right. It isn't an urgency for me either. I know where I am going with it and I like how I am doing it.

Just wondered whether other folks had ways and means that are more efficient than my own.

Thanks for throwing in your two cents.

You're welcome, Netta!

Jeff

I bought a laptop a month ago, second hand, for the sole purpose of being mobile should I need to 'get away' and just 'do'. Still haven't used it yet. I think I might attempt to schedule some time away from the house, maybe a couple of hours here and there, let everyone get used to the idea.

Cool idea, Twack! Thanks!

Most welcome Netta.
