Using a branded google account

Hi,
So I've been working on my google+presence today. I recommend getting your new niche blog 'listed' with google business. I finally did this the other day and then they sent me a postcard in the mail with a code. When I got that in the mail today, I put the code in the correct spot and now I have a local google listing for my new niche.

I saw that this gives me a 'branded account' on google and google +. So I decided to turn all of my google+ efforts and links into my branded google+ account which is connected to my new local business listing.
I'm hoping that this will get my business better indexed in Google.

I've had some issues with Google My Business. But I think after at least a week, it has been sorted out today. I've been on the phone with them several times at 844-442-8695. I finally got a guy who straightened it out and now I am being found locally and in google search again. So happy!
