What I mean is, is there a way that when I complete a posting it automatically updates all of my social networks. Weather it's through a web service or via a WP plugin?

Some people have been using a plugin that holds your social accounts so once you publish a new post, the plugin up dates your chosen social media accounts.

I do believe there is a way...seems I read about that here a few days ago....but I have no details. Someone will know ;=)

So, on my new site I have quite a few images that I took myself. I want to know if there are any articles that cover how to copyright my images and what information I need to add

if you put your name and a copyright on all of your images this would be good to A:protect your images and B: brand yourself. There are also plugins that wont allow people to right click on your images so they cant save them to their harddrives

Thanks!

How to put my name and copyright on photos? I have hundreds of them in my site on mountains.

I just use free software like G.I.M.P which is just like photoshop. All of my images on my site are branded with my logo.

Thank you.

When I write my articles, I feel like sometimes I say everything I want to say in less than 700 words but, other times, I can write over 1500 ...should this concern me? Should I f

If it's a review, I would say aim for 1500 words but if it's a random update (like a "how to" or "list post"), you can do with 1000.

Also competition comes into factor here so take a look at the top 10 results for the keyword you are trying to rank for and see what they're doing.

Hope this helps.

Awesome Thanks Everyone for the help!

Like Aurorasa I read somewhere that 400 words is the minimum. I aim for between 400 to 1500 words.

Use headings to break up the message. Use short sentences. Use small paragraphs. Use images.

Make sure it is interesting to the reader.

I have used the following guide: 600 - 1200.

I read a post on WA about blog length recently, and it recommended the length of the post to be about 1600 words, and taking about 7 minutes to read it.

I read 400 words is the minimum. Here is another view on it http://www.forbes.com/sites/johnrampton/2014/04/04/how-long-should-my-blog-post-be/

Is there a target word count I should be shooting for?

So basically my question is, I am doing pretty good with my first site (I think anyway). I am very consistent with adding new content and what not. But, I am still not through al

Hi Tim - I also have two websites running and to be honest, I find it hard to keep up with both - I've just doubled my workload! Having said that, it does focus me even more, so if you've got the time to spend on two, I'd say go for it and try and spread your time evenly between them.

I have 2 sites. One is an old site and the other I started after joining wa. I intend to work on both, but currently the newer site takes bigger priority.

For me, I like to be able to work on different things so that I can take a break from one while working on another. Like now I am taking a break from my sites to comment on wa posts. I guess it really depends on your working style.

All the best!

Hi Tim, I was trying hard to focus only on one site/niche as well and found it difficult because I keep coming up with content for each of them. But then I watched this live video class and Jay talked about how we need to have a marketer's mindset and if we do it really doesn't matter if we have one website with lots of content for different things, which is really different niches, or if we have a website for each niche that we put the content onto. The content is getting written either way. He probably explains it better. lol Watch it if you have time and haven't already. I hope this helps a little. --- Daniella

Hi Tim. I would have to suggest that you get through all of the training before thinking about starting a second website. It will be more difficult for you to focus on your first site if you're still trying to finish the training and starting a second site.

Thanks Michelle! I was thinking that but, then on the other hand I was thinking that I have found that I really like creating content. But, I think you are right I will focus on the training now and then re-evaluate whether I am ready for another site after I have learned more. Thank You!

I think that is probably the wisest choice. Remember, when you start a second site, you have just doubled your workload, too! :)
