Hi Everyone!

It's been 3 weeks since I joined WA. I created my website last week, and also submitted it for indexing with Google and Bing. This week, I created my first post - https://asiatravelgems.com/best-places-to-visit-in....

Yesterday, I checked my website and it was already indexed by Google and Bing (see yesterday's blog post). Today, I did a search on Google and found my website on Page 5 of search results! YAY!!! (on mobile devices it is on Page 3)

Here's a screen shot of the search result page:

Here is a close up of the top area:

Here's a close up of the listing where my website is:

Look forward to completing Lesson 2, to my website reaching Page 1 and start having affiliates and making money!

Meanwhile, please do visit my website and leave a comment - https://asiatravelgems.com/best-places-to-visit-in-thimphu-bhutan-clock-tower-square/. And if you have a website you need comments, do let me know and I will return the favor.

Great Success to All! And Happy Christmas!!! :D

* Tip - see true ranking, you have to sign out of Google (and MSN for Bing). See the image where I highlight how I know I am signed out of Google - there is a blue Sign In button at the top right corner. What I mean by true ranking is that you will see search results as others see it.

Thanks and welcome Viyee! :)

How do you monitor , in which page your website is?

Hi!

Go to Google.com and Sign out of your google account (if you are still signed in).

Type the keywords that you are competing for on your blog post or website. E.g, For https://asiatravelgems.com/best-places-to-visit-in-thimphu-bhutan-clock-tower-square/, I am competing for the keyword phrase 'Best Places To Visit In Thimphu Bhutan'. (which I decided after doing keyword research, and it is low hanging fruit keywords with traffic)

Then go page by page to see if your post or website is on any of the search result pages.

Usually, I search up to Page 25 (for new sites that I started to rank for). After that, it is not worth looking, and best to do more and better SEO to get your site or post rank higher.

Once your site or post reaches the top 10 pages, you can actually use automated online tools to monitor where you site or post will rank at. Here are a couple of good ones:

https://www.searchenginegenie.com/google-rank-checker.html

http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/keyword-position.html

So now that my site is ranked on Page 5, I am going to use one of the above to monitor the ranking.

Hope this helps?

Yes . Thanks for ur help.

My pleasure :)
