Commissions Earned! While I Was Sleeping! Yay!
On Friday night, I had dinner with a friend who was back in town. Then went home, and slept.
Early morning, I was awaken. My phone was on silent mode, and there was no alarm. I just suddenly woke up.
Curious to see what time it was, I reached for me phone, and saw that it was 4am. And at the top of the screen was a notification.
I swiped down and read the notification. My heart pounded quickly when I saw the preview of an email that arrived from my Affiliate. It said that I have generated commisions!
I opened the email to read and there were a few sales!
Someone or some people have generously clicked on the affiliate links on my web pages. There were confirmed bookings that resulted in commissions! Yay!!!
For slightly over a year, I had been working hard on my website. Finally, it is beginning to generate sales. I am so very happy!
To me, this is very encouraging. A few sales today. More sales tomorrow. And soon, I will be able to earn enough to do this full time.

Thanks. Well, I'm into the pop up, landing page and thank you page which I neglected earlier and now they become necessary in getting leads.
May be accessing Analytics if you have any easier method. The scope is so vast here. Seems like it is testing my patience.

What autoresponder are you using for the pop up, landing page, and thank page? I use MailChimp and it is quite easy to use.
Yes, they are necessary to get leads, but we need traffic first. Also, I no longer do the pop up on my website because it is not much liked by search engines. This is because on the mobile phone, the pop up blocks content. Search engines do not like that.
I moved the pop up to be part of every page and post, after the article. You can see it on my website - https://asiatravelgems.com. Take a look at one of the posts. And scroll down to the bottom. You will see the sign up form for the newsletter.
Having said this, I will eventually returned the pop up. But I won't do it until my site ranks on 1st page. After it ranks for some time, I will then do the popup.
Regarding Google Analytics - you only have to add the ID code to the All In One SEO. After that, it is just going to GA to constantly see how your traffic is growing. Plus, lots of other useful info - e.g. where your traffic is coming from, which platform most of them use to visit your website, how long do they stay on each of your pages/posts, etc
Yes, there are lots of tasks, a wide scope of work, to manage and maintain a website. Even more to promote your online business. It can be hard initially, but when my websites earn enough, I plan to hire Virtual Assistants (VAs) to help me. And they can do all the tedious tasks.

Thanks! Glad you like my website, and landing page. Yes, the video is pulled from YouTube. I use the theme - Twenty Seventeen - and in the Customize option, there is a Header Media option where you can simply give a YouTube link, and the theme will pull the YouTube video from there and display it on the header of the website.
Speaking of which, I think it is time to change the header video. The one showing now is not very clear. It's cos I used my mobile phone to film the video at night, and the phone does not film well at night.
I visited the homepage of your website. The landing page here looks ok. Just a couple of comments:
1. Right side bar - I would move the WA affiliate banner above the Jaaxy banner. After all, your site is about promoting WA more than Jaaxy.
2. Right side bar - there is a repeat of the Recent Posts - a list with just text, and a list with thumbnail and text. I would go with the list with text because it will reduce download speed of the site. And remove the list with thumbnail.

1. Some of the sub headers are showing well. Some are not. As a result, the text looks like one long flow of text without headers. Check on that.
E.g. For example the sub header - So What Else Can You Do To Earn Money? It doesn't stand out as a header. It looks like part of the text.
This is important because having content that is easy to read will encourage readers to read your whole article.
2. Call to Action - The Call to Action is not clear. E.g. the banner - Access Here - what are you encouraging your readers to access? and Why should they want to access it?
Basically, look at it from the reader's point of view - what is in it for me?
If you are encouraging them to earn a second income, then maybe the banner should read - Ready to Earn a Second Income? You Can Learn How Here
Regarding GA, I am still not sure what is the issue? What tags? Images? Wallpapers? GA - Google Analytics - is an online tool by Google to provide data on the traffic and user behaviour of our websites. There are no tags, images or wallpapers? Are we talking about the same thing here, my friend?
Oh, one last thing about your website. I don't know if this only happens to me. I am using Chrome. And every time I scroll down a bit, the popup appears. Please check the behavior you have set on MailChimp for the popup.
Also, I cannot click the 'X' to close the popup window. This not good. Visitors can get frustrated with the inability to close the popup window. This is one of the reasons why I do not use popup yet.
