My Theme is putting a strike through line through links and titles on my site. I was using Elementor Page Builder and even the Wordpress editor is doing it as well.

You got me on that one. It might be a bug with the theme. That would be my best guess. Have you googled it to see what you could find?

Thanks. Turns out it was the broken link checker

Cheers,

Tim

I would try switching themes and see if the problem still persists. That way you will know if it is the theme you chose, or a different error.

This often is caused by a broken link checker plugin, if you have one, you should check the settings

Thank you, problem solved
Cheers,

Tim

Hi Tim
I'm not sure without going in the back end, but It sounds like it could be a typography setting. Try checking the Theme > Customise > & anything related to typography & links.

Another place to check is your Themes Settings. Your theme might have a separate settings area which makes them the default settings that affects your site globally.
Hope this helps :)

Hi there Tim

I had a similar challenge and Site Support assisted me.

Hope you come right in quick time.

Louise

OK Thanks Louise.

I have always used and relied upon AWeber. Love to hear others views!!

I'm totally in Love with Aweber also, been a customer for many years now! I also hear good stories about Mailchimp, but feel no need to switch providers! Aweber is cool and improving a lot lately.

Over 10 years with Aweber. Best deliverability rates around.

AWeber is good, but has its limitations depending on usage.

I have *heard* lots of good things about Drip - but I've yet to try it.

I always attempt to get my keyword into the name in a logical way, you?

It doesn't matter anymore for SEO what the name of your domain is. I focus on short ones, easy to remember. I create them for my customers/visitors, not for Google :) But if I can put a keyword in it I will of course. However the content of your website is much more important for SEO purposes.

Yes. that is a great idea

Thanks!!

Video Marketing
Updated

This is one thing I have always struggled with, how to keep videos short. I mean when doing a PowerPoint, explainer video so hard to keep them under 10 mins.
Your Thoughts?<

I'm a creator on YT too, it totally depends on your niche. My niche is the personal development, law of attraction and like. These people Love longer videos that go into depth. Not all of my videos promote stuff. It's also attraction marketing. Many come to my websites after watching a video and I do good business on eBay as an affiliate by simply recommending something that is related to a video I created. It works. I don't recommend things to much in the videos. Because I want people to trust me. Let's be honest: people don't watch videos that tell them "buy this, buy that". It's content that counts, people start seeing you as an authority that is passionate about what you create. This way you can get them on your list(s), offer freebies, etc. And then provide quality emails with a little commerce every now and then.

Just keep a good balance!

Social media channels such as YouTube and Facebook rank videos not only on number of views but also how much of the video is watched. For that reason I will be keeping these videos down to around 2 to 3 minutes long and they will be “teaser” or “trailer” videos explaining the benefits to the viewer of visiting my website and watching my full video on the subject. Hopefully this will boost my YouTube, Facebook and website page rankings.
I have used this technique in the past but I should stress that I have yet to prove its worth this time around.

Steve.

Steve, YT now promotes the videos that have the most interaction (comments) so the "trick" is to invite people to comment AND reply to their comments, to each of them!

Thanks for the update, I was unaware of this until now.

3-5 minutes is key. Focus on ONE key point in each video. Maybe even practice once or twice and time yourself before you record your final version.

Thanks, good advice!!
