About TimMcKinlay

Hi, I'm Tim, a 30 something guy from Australia who went from working in construction to earning 6 figures per year with affiliate marketing.

I'm not a guru though.

I am just someone who believes you can achieve anything you set your mind to, as long as you believe in yourself and commit 100%. And this isn't just motivational speak, this is what I live by.

This is how I:

- Quit my old construction gig
- Became a "super affiliate"
- Met Kyle, Carson, Jay (and other cool people here) in person
- Work when I want, where I want, how I want- doing something I love

My "secret" to success:

- Follow the training, use the tools, ask for help when you need it
- Believe in yourself
- Never. Ever. Quit.

You can do this. The ONLY person standing between you and your goals, is you. And when you know this, I mean really know this, you will know that you have the power to choose how your story plays out.

Feel free to drop me a comment below, I'd love to hear from you! :)

Hello Tim
How are you doing this evening? Hope all is well, I had a question what social media company would you recommend me to help with bring in traffic to my site, if you know of any, I was thinking about 98 Social, because I really don't have the time to manage my social media at this time.
Cynthia,
Cheers!

Hi Cynthia,

There's no company I use or recommend to manage social media. I'm not big into social media myself, so when I do run campaigns I just work on them myself or hire a freelancer who specialises in that particular platform.

Thanks Tim,
For your thoughts on this I might do a Champaign, just wondering other ways to get traffic to my website.

I personally would be mostly focussed on creating content. It's easy to get sidetracked into the many other ways to get traffic, which can really derail your progress.

With that being said, you can definitely branch out as long as you are aware of this. Here's a good tutorial to help you out:

Hi Tim,

Thank You so much for your heartwarming welcome. I am very excited to be here. I really like your comment about 'bringing value' to people. That thought process, is actually helping me focus with some clarity, on my niche, or at least bringing me closer to deciding on a niche.

So I wanted to reach out say Hello and say that, I so look forward to working along side you and WA. I'm feeling a WOW! here, that I haven't had in a long time.

Take Care.
Mark

Hi Mark, that's great to hear, glad you are enjoying WA!

Yeah that mindset of helping your audience will take you a long way. Because the more value you can give to those in your niche, the better results you are going to see within your business.

Let me know if you want some help with your niche, always happy to help out. Either way, talk soon :)

Hi Tim,
My site is up and running now (yea!), and I have two questions that I hope you can help me with:

How do I link my Facebook and Twitter pages to my website and install the "like" and "share" buttons?
and
How do I optimize my site for printing?

Many thanks for your always helpful advice,
Richard

Hi Richard,

Awesome work, this is the first of many successes to come so nice work!

This training will help you out with your first question: Regarding your second question, I have no idea. I haven't had the need to do this or come across anyone who has so this is not something I'm sure about. If you want to print your content then personally I would just use the print function in the browser, or to get it exactly how you want it you could copy the content and paste it into a Google doc, where you can modify it exactly how you want it for printing.

Hope this helps!

I see that this process actually works. I've been with WA for a year in January and I've been so busy I have not been able to build out my site. But I was online looking for a review on Real Profits Online and your review was on the first page. I did not know that you were with WA and in my network. Here I have the perfect business and I'm looking for an opportunity elsewhere. Sometimes we don't know what we have. Your site and review are amazing and what you're making monthly is no joke. You've encouraged me to get busy with my WA business go through the training and make things happen and that's exactly what I 'm going to do.

That's great to hear Peter, glad you are motivated to get rolling with your business.

I know what that's like, it's easy to get 'shiny object syndrome', I think we all get this, especially in this industry with so many programs and ways to make money online. But the reality is you are in the right place if you want to build a real, longterm sustainable business. It takes time and effort but it is well worth it.

To this day I'm blown away not just by making money online but with the freedom it gives you. You definitely need to grind for a while without making much but once you get it rolling the income is very passive in nature so even 4 figures per month can change your life. Especially considering the low running costs.

Anyways thanks for reaching out and look forward to seeing you reach your goals going forward!

Hey Tim, I got the call yesterday. I go in for my spinal fusion on December 20th.at 8am. It's supposed to be an 8-10 hour surgery. Which usually turns into 12-14hours with me. I don't tend to make it easy on them. The last one was supposed to be 4-6 hours and wound up being 10 hours. So I'm getting 8 steel cages put into my lumbar spine and saccrum. Hopefully when they're done I'll be able to stand up more than 5 minutes and walk more than 10 feet without my legs giving out. After that they fix my neck and I should be good as new. I HOPE!!! Just didn't want everybody thinking I quit. Once I start something I don't quit until the job is done. I hate having to take time away from this and school right now but we all do what we have to. Right?

Hi Darcy,

Oh wow that sounds pretty serious but hopefully works out well for you :)

Not a problem at all, no one will think you quit. And you can come back and start working on your business whenever you are ready. That's one of the great things about this gig is that it is very flexible.

Anyways all the best with the surgery and talk to you soon.
