Hey Timea,

If you have a plugin installed to cache your website, you will need to delete the cache to show ANY changes you make to your website.

How to remove a page from manu bar?

I'm using AWeber for the ffirst time. There is an option in setting up a new list where I can chose conformation email to be send to subscribers. It can be annoying for them (d

Still AWeber...
I have 2 videos to give away (wanna send them together at the same time) to build list. They are not YouTube or Vimeo videos. I made them with Filmora, so I don't have a URL for them which I can insert into somewhere - like if I create a "legacy follow up messages" on AWeber. How do I set this up with aweber then?
Not to mention, that a few days later I want to send them a free report after they signed up for the videos...

So, it's 2 steps;

1) Automatically send them the 2 videos when they signed up
2) Few days later send fee report

I would really appreciate some good guidance guys because it's I'm lost at aweber.... Too much stuff there... :)

Another thing; when I watched Jay's video on building a sign up form and landing page, he says that he use one page he built before on his WP dashboard. He uses the same one over and over. But I don't want it to appear on my site, (menu!) so how do I do that? Just keep it as "draft" ? If it is in draft, can I still copy its URL into AWeber "thank you email" field? Would it appear even when it's in draft?

No, it won't appear from Draft mode, but you can just opt not to put it on your menu at all. If you're auto-adding pages to your menu, just go in and manually delete that one, that way it is on your site, but can't be navigated to.

So, you are saying that I create a "thank you page" on my website.I just don't add it to menu. Where will it be then? Like a post? Anyway... Then use its URL in Aweber.

It will be in your file directory, just not visible on your site unless they have the exact URL.

Really? If I add a new page but don't add it to menu it won't be visible on my site but still can use its URL!? I didn't know that!

Well... I don't know a lot of thing but thank you for teaching me one today! :)

You're welcome, no problem. :)

Double opt in is a good thing. It not only proves they want to be on your list but also makes sure they give a valid email.
Marc

Yes, I agree with Mel. Use the double opt-in. ~Jude

To be completely safe from spam complaints, I recommend double opt-in lists. While you may 'lose' some subscribers, those are not people you'd be selling to anyway. You want people who are eager for your information.

Thank you so much!

I have a category in my menu. But I want to turn it into a page. I want to copy and paste it into my other website. How can I turn my category into a page (so I can copy it) or

OK....I have this same thing and asked the question but never got an answer I could use to fix it. I did not have the audio files attached thou. I accidently, in the beginning, made my blog a category. Don't ask how or why....it just happened. Anyway, I wanted to make it a page so I could change things but found when I did that I lost my rolling blog. So since it does not bug anyone but me....I just had to leave it alone and get over it. I looked it up in Wordpress on how to do it too but still did not work. So.... sorry not a lot of help. s

This is a little more doable. If you still want to do that send me a PM

If I find out one day, I'll let you know! :)

Hi Timea, a category is really just like a tag or label. I assume that when you click on it, you get a blog roll with posts which are all part of that category?

I don't believe there's any easy way of doing this, other than copying and pasting each page which belongs to that category.

....or rearranging in the menu options with drag and drop.

I may need a little more information about what you're trying to do here. First let me clarify a couple of terms for clarity sake. A "webpage" is basically a location on your site reached by entering a specific url. A "page" in the Wordpress sense is just a type of post with different properties than a regular post.

The category link in your menu takes you to a webpage that lists all the posts in that category. This is dynamically generated, meaning created each time it is loaded, by Wordpress and will change each time a new post is added to that category. So this webpage doesn't so much exist in a way that can be directly converted into a page, but rather is just a list off posts that will be continually updated over time.

So with that in mind what specifically do you want to accomplish? I may be able to give you a solution that will work for your specific purposes.

That would save my life now! :)
I have a website with lots of posts. Some of them (105!!!) includes audio files, as I uploaded my ITunes episodes through my website as posts. Now I have a subdomain for this, and I want to copy and paste my previous episodes (posts) from my main to my new subdomain. I thought that the previous episode posts are in a page, in my menu, but just discovered that they are in my menu but in a "podcast" category.

And I have a bad news: I just copied one post with audio file in it. Manually copied then pasted it into my new subdomain site, but only txt appears, not the audio! :(
I did it in Text tab and still didn't paste audio! Why??
And all of them comes with a verified link to media host and ITunes. I need this, so all of my episodes will be still available for listeners, not just the last 5 which I uploaded since I changed websites.

Yeah ok, Then you're looking for something a little different. First off, are you trying to move this content or duplicate it over, because duplication is bad for SEO. Secondly, what is your new subdomain for? Again, usually you're better off keeping everything in your main site for SEO purposes unless there is a specific reason for the subdomain.

Given both of those caveats, you still want to move these?

My guess would be that the audio files are hosted on your site and therefore not accessible to your subdomain, but I'd have to look at the code to be sure. If you still want to do this after my other comment you can PM me a link to the new page you created on your subdomain.

I don't even know what to do now or what I want. I think it's better to go and take back my podcast to my main

I would call that a good call.

Hi!
I'm premium at WA. To pay my yearly fee is coming soon. Are you automatically will take it out from my credit card? Or I have to do it myself manually on that date? I h

Go to your Account Settings https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home/my_profile and check your Subscription Settings. What normally happens is that the payment is deducted using the same method you paid last year.

I payed only once. This is my first renewal. Account setting doesn't say anything about it. I only have option to cancel my account

This is what my Account Settings looks like. If yours is similar then the payment will be automatic on the same day you paid last year.

If you took advantage of the Black Friday offer then you'll always pay the Black Friday price. If not then cancel your account and rejoin when the Black Friday offer is happening. November is almost here.

Thank you :)
