Hi guys,
I've gotten my initial 3 pages of content written, but as I continue on with the training, i am constantly told to write a new post here and a new post there.
It's all up to you Tim. I have a few pages on my site that are part of my site's menu. All other pages are actually posts. You can write a post and connect it to your page in the menu. No matter. You can do it as like. The most important thing is writing new content, mo matter page or post.
There is no difference in ranking, posts and pages are the same.
But pages are for more evergreen content, I have around 60 in my site plus 280 posts.
See in my training about practical steps, what you can do with posts: How to add posts into main menu
Hey hey... so you can easily add post by clicking "post" right in the same tab that you find "pages" also you should definitely be creating post content as it is essential to getting ranked in google,, hope this helped.. best wishes
Do I need to have posts or can I just focus on pages?

Hello Everyone,
I'm still in the starting phase of my 1st site here on W.A. I'm getting the content together for one my initial pages, but i;m noticing that one is gettin
Hi Tim,
It's all up to you how structure your site. I think the second option makes more sense. Regarding changing urls, that' true. It's not good for SEO once you have your pages ranked in Google. Since your site is new I don't think you should worry about it much. Just structure it in a way you like and then leave it. Anyway, you can always use redirect plugin for the pages you've changed.
Hi Tim,
I was having the same issue. I think Marion is absolutely right. keep progressing through the courses but try some stuff out as you go. I'm a bit... how can i say... 'technologically embarrassed!' so I've been randomly experimenting and hopefully Kyle will put me straight in his courses soon! Good luck - I'm sure you'll get there :)
Thanks Jimmy!
Sound advice, I'll just keep working through it and one day it will all be clear!
Whatever you do you can change later if you need to. Just follow Kyle's lessons from the beginning Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started (Level 1) It will all be covered as you go along.
Thanks for the quick reply Marion!
I just sat down for a coffee break and I think I came up with the solution myself! I realized that if I create the main pages as they are, I can always split the content up into sub pages in the future and use the original page as the sections home page.
I'll continue with the program. I feel a little stuck as it's taking me ages to get content together. By the end of the week I'll have my initial content done and I'll move on with the lessons.
Thanks again
