So for the last week (since the 18th) G-Analytics is showing zero visitors to my site which I know for a fact is not true. What could be wrong and how can I fix it?

Please

After trying all suggestions as below check the period also in which you are finding.
Put the correct dates and range in which you may be looking for.

Hello Tiffany !
Did you set the google analytics code in your website ?

Yes, my Google Analytics has been set up and working fine for over a month.

you just have to check that out (check the code if it's properly installed or changed some how) it got to be a tracking code or site coding issue

Thanks...do you know how I check that? I don't remember how I even set it up... I just followed a tutorial.

I was wondering if there is an easy way to network with others in the same or similar niches as me within WA?

Thank you!

This happens over time kind of naturally as you visit blogs of other members and network with them. I've seen a few already in your niche or closely related. I'd be happy to refer you to anyone I come across in the future that is in your niche or similar. ~Jude

Ok, thank you Jude! Yes, I'd be happy to take any referrals of folks in the same/similar niches as me. :)

Will keep it in mind for you. ~ Jude

I'm not aware of any groups like that, sorry.

I am not sure about it. WAians have made some groups on FB and google+

I not sure but if you where to blog about it and ask for others that may be in your niche to post it in comments below your post you will get some of them that way---

That's a good idea. Thanks! :)

I'm having a similar problem. When I enter text in the Caption field and update the page, there's no caption. I go back to editing the image and the caption text has disappeared. Any way around this?

This sounds like a theme issue on both issues,

Tiffany, you have probably fixed it by now because I just visited your blog and I could see the captions. I must try jojoba oil! Enjoy the journey and don't stress when you don't know something...soon, you will figure it out, and there is a lot of help here too. I left a comment on your site.

P.S. I hope this means you have decided to stay at WA. You are making such great progress. Don't know whether you have had a chance to read my reply to your earlier question about moving your site. ~ Jude

Hi Jude! I have had a chance to read your comment about leaving WA, I just haven't havent had a chance to respond. It's hard to keep up! :) Thank you for the encouragement. I'm not making any decisions on whether to stay or leave just yet. I figure I need to give it at least a few months. Thanks again! -Tiffany

Hey Tiffany. I long ago decided that "alignment" in WordPress was so flakey it's better to insert a column, http://www.utmce.siterubix.com/columns whenever I need to layup text and images. If you're a *visual* person I recommend http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/ There's also training on it here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/ultimate-tinymce-plugin-the-ultimate-training :) Rich.

Thank you very much. I'll definitely be checking that out. Everyone says that WordPress is so user friendly and I guess it is to an extent, but that useability can go out the window fast!

Hey Rich.
I just put together a post on my blog http://earnmoneyfromblogging.info/siterubix and found aligning text/image was very awkward as well. I let it go this time but in future I think I'll try using tables. I am used to building in a WYSIWYG program - kompozer.net and found that you can then just copy/paste the new code into siterubix.
Still getting my feet wet here, but I might put together a training on doing this for those that haven't ever used a desktop program for layout etc. It gives much more freedom.

Tiffany I have to ask you a question. Hopefully it doesn't sound all wrong.
Exactly where are you placing your cursor when you insert image?
It should be in front of the text you want to place the image to the right of.
Curso here|text here
and not on a blank line.
cursor here
text here
Hope that makes sense.
At least you now have your caption in there.

Thank you Lawrence!! For now I'm leaving it as is and taking the attitude that along the way I'll learn these more intricate workings of WordPress. I think I can get lost in perfectionism and forget that I'm a beginner. I tend to throw up my hands at the first road block and give up. This whole IM journey is showing me things about myself that I didn't necessarily know. Everyday I have to tell myself to keep going and to not give up. But my mind wants to tell me that I can't do it constantly! Anyhoo...there's my rant for the day. LOL. Thanks again for all of your help, I really appreciate it. :) Have a lovely Saturday!

Let me tell you very frankly and sincerely that the post as it is attractive and coveying your message perfectly, so not discussing on alignment. However I remember Tommy Dillard tutorial which is perfect. You may search i How to insert images, thanks.

LOL These thinks are sent to test us. Sometimes just walking away and having a wine is the answer.
Strange though that it is effecting the alignment.
Hope you get it sorted

Thank you! If I still drank a wine would definitely be what I would be doing right now! I gave up booze 20 months ago as I was on a sure path to death. But believe me, it still sounds really good at times like this. LOL. :) I think I'll go meditate instead. Thanks for your help. It is much appreciated.

I think the post looks really nice the way it is right now :)

Awww. Thanks Alex. :) Nice to hear when I'm over here thinking everything that I do is crap!

I would delete it and then insert again doing all the editing in the first hit.

That worked for the caption but then the text went all wonky. I give up. I just center aligned it for now. I'm ready to throw my laptop out the window.

I don't think it is the alignment - but then again I am not sure what theme you are using. You should be able to put the caption in when you edit the photo. Click on the photo and go to edit.
If its not in the first option (which I think is where it will be) click the second tab which reads "advanced" and then add your caption in the box provided.

I would right align your picture - because with left it is breaking up the text and making it difficult to read put

before your caption.

I would also think about changing your caption slightly. You'll see what I mean here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/bis/blog/adding-relevant-captions-to-your-images-will-encourage-more-readers

The top image isn't the one I'm having a problem with. It's the second image in the middle of the article. When I click on it to edit and add a caption the caption doesn't appear. All it does is change the alignment of the photo which I'm not trying to change.

I'm sorry - I misread your comment. If you change to text editor - I would have a look see if you have managed to pick up any strange coding - remove it and then reinsert it.

Thanks for your help Beverley, I really appreciate it. I'm going to leave it as it for now before I have a meltdown and perhaps I'll figure it out another time. Thanks to for your PM earlier... I'll be responding when I'm not so tired! It's been a long day. Time to throw in the towel for now. Thanks again!

You take care. A break is a good idea. And don't feel you have to reply to the pm - it was just some thoughts that's all.

If I decided to cancel WA premium membership what happens with my site? Do I lose all of the work I've done? I'm totally ignorant as far as this stuff goes so any help is appre

But what if I just down grade from premium because I'm unable to pay the monthly fee right now? And what if I want to pick it back up once I'm able to afford it (i.e., revert back to or create .siterubix.com sites with the same name until I can pay the monthly fee that includes hosting). After some advice here I think I may have jumped the gun some, but would hate to have paid for a domain name then be unable to use it if say, I want to come back in 45 days, or when I can pay the fee without thinking about buying necessities. Would I be able to join the .siterubix.com site with the same name back to the domain I've already purchased when I pick my membership back up?

Just in case, take a back up of your sites, some great plugins make the process easy. When you come back and I think you should, then if the sites are deleted, then simply use the backup to restore. That way you don't have to start from scratch again.

Cool. Thanks :)

after about 2 weeks your site(s) are eliminated.

All of us appreciate your concern. Judebanks has given her live experience and given you a right perspective. At WA I think you must have lot of patience you may not jump on your toes to progress but whatever you progress here you are on strong footing. I would suggest you calculate how much you will be spending to host your sites on other servers and spend on popularising them before you take a final call.
I would like to thank you for the post which has enlightened me also.

Hi Tiffany, let me just say, I made a big mistake when I left WA a few years ago. Okay, I had personal family things going on, and it wasn't because I didn't like it.

Looking back, I can see that I should have found a way to persist with WA back then. But the journey seemed so long, and when I was ready to resume, I got distracted.

There is no other place like WA online anywhere. I've done dozen of things and have earned noteworthy income from multilevel marketing and affiliate programs.

But they do not last unless you build a strong foundation from the get-go. That is what WA gives you, a firm footing, a springboard from which you can do anything with it.

If you simply don't want to sit in front of the computer and prefer to pursue offline avenues that would make you happier, then I understand completely. But if you are thinking of trying something else online, please learn from my mistake.

Of course, like me, you can always come back because WA will be here and waiting and welcoming you back, which is not something I can say about most things I have tried online. ~ Jude

If you're not totally sold on it - is there anything anyone can do to help? It isn't for everyone but no one would like to see you leave because you didn't get the help you needed.

Hi Tiffany - you've got the answers below - but maybe something you should think about posting is, what have you NOT got from WA, that makes you want to cancel (assuming the monthly fee isn't the root) - there are 10's of thousands of people here that can help with guidance if that's what you would like?

All the best, Mark

Thanks Mark. I'm just not totally sold on it I guess.

My understanding is that if it's a .siterubix subdomain (mysite.siterubix.com) then it will stay there and you will revert back to free membership access. If it's your own domain name (mysite.com) then I believe you will have 30 days to move it to a different server. Hope this helps, Richard.

Thank you for the response!

I get conflicting information on this.

You will have 30 days to move it to a new hosting site.
