Back To School!
Hi, everyone!
I hope all is well with everyone. School is starting soon in our district, and I'm excited. I'll be back to teaching and my son will be back in school.
Some of you that follow my work/posts know that I'm a school teacher and have struggled with my niche. I originally had a website that was about teaching and special needs students, and I wanted to change my niche because I wanted to talk about something other than teaching. I was getting burned out at the time, and our education system is so flawed, I really didn't want to think about it at the time.
So, I tried to do a site on the MMO niche, and I literally wanted to stab myself in the eye with a pencil after writing 5 articles. It just isn't my thing and I'm not interested in it enough to write about it.
I finally decided to go back to my passion and write about teaching and parenting/teaching children that have special needs. Writing my articles has been so much more fun since I'm writing about something that I'm passionate about and truly have expertise in.
I know that some people know how to write on random niches, but I'm more likely to follow through on writing articles if I'm involved in the process daily.
When I went back to school today for the first day of pre-planning, I literally thought of 3 different how-to articles that I can write on teaching. And when I looked online, yeah, there are a few posts on these subjects, but my information and knowledge is still better than what's out there.
So, I'm pretty excited. I feel like my passion niche is what's going to work for me personally.
I hope everyone is doing well. Wish me luck for the start of a great school year. I already know it's going to be a hot mess!
