I would like to create a similar box like the one in this article "Our Pick", with Amazon Affiliate Link with picture, product name and "Buy Now" button for my visitor to click

Looks like you have an answer

Yes, thank you for dropping by to help.

Hi Thomas, as Phil (feigner) suggests, you can use the block editor ... select a block at the point where you want to add the effect. You can give the block a background colour of your choice and if you select Paragraph you can place whatever text and links you want into the area.
I use Kadence Blocks for a few things, but I think that for this effect you can use any text block.
:-)
Richard

Hi Richard,
Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into that.

that one is created with a plugin called getlasso
https://getlasso.co/features/displays/
paid for one ...but i am sure you can find one that is a free one that will do the job
even if you have to go to the block editor rather than the classic editor
create one and save it as a tamplate to be reused when you need it....
get generateblocks plugin and kadenceblocks plugin and i am sure with hte amazon image ( large) you can recreate something like this...
good luck
phil

Hi Feigner,
Wow... you got it. So much thanks for your input. Now I know which plug-in they used, but looking at the pricing of $29/month it is too expensive for me now to use it. Perhaps when my traffic become higher.
Meanwhile will explore your suggestion using the block editor to do the trick.
Thank you so much for the advise.

no worries....
take your time and you will get there...
set up a test siterubix site to play around with bits like this...
if you have ten mins free then pop in there and try to create hte box...or learn a bit more to get you towards it...
this way you are less reliant on plugins and have a much more curious mind...

That’s right.
A curious mind will pick up a lot of unknown during the journey.
Thank you for the advice. 😊

Log in to your Amazon Associates account.
Open a new tab and directly go to Amazon on the home page and search for the product. The associate’s Site stripe will appear at the top of every page.
You can choose whether you want a text-only link or image only link or a text + image link.

also, I've done custom links before...
Custom affiliate links can be created on the affiliate area step using the Link Builder element. Affiliates will find custom links in their affiliate area.

Thank you JHurray for the comment.
Your suggestion for the custom affiliate link give me some idea to explore in future.

Will Page Builder like Elementor slow down our site and affect our ranking when Google introduced new Core Web Vitals this year?

it depends...
on how many elements you put on a page....
have masses of heavy graphics and flashy bits and....slow page ..but that is with or without elementor...
ask yourself why you want elementor...can you do it in the block editor...
with a couple of plugins like generateblocks and kadence blocks you will be well away....
but you need to keep your pagespeed up at leat into the yellow if not the green...
if you are in the red then google will prioritize other sites above you....
as Catherine says ...keep images small ...and a second vote for riot...
good luck
phil

Generally speaking, all plugins slow down a site for a bit. The more you have them installed, the slower your site is.

Light plugins won't affect your site's speed too much. However, heavy plugins like Elementor probably will slow it down, which will affect your site when Google releases Core updates.

i don't completely agree with you plugins certainly don't have to slow down your website unless they are well written and updated i really use more than 10 plugins on all my website's and almost all my website have average pagespeed for a mobile of 92 and desktop 95 with a good amount of plugins

That what I meant. I also have over ten plugins on my site and my pagespeed is great. However, when I was trying out Elementor, my page speed dropped dramatically and my site crashed as well. By deleting the Elementor plugin, I managed to bring things back to normal.

Elementor could be used with every theme they say but in practice that's not the fact it needs a lightweight theme. The best way is to use it with Hello, that is mainly written for Elementor. A lot of people use the free variants of themes but they are generally really poorly written that also loses a lot of speed .

Great stuff! It makes perfect sense 🙂

There is no doubt about it that site speed is becoming an important factor for Google. At the moment I am testing a combination of Generatepress and elementor over three hosting platforms. Also Generate Press on its own

The combination of Generatepress and elemental together seems so far to have a fairly light footprint much lighter than Divi and definitely lighter than Thrive architect.

Don't forget to compress your images as well I use radical image optimisation tools (RIOT)
