Oh site comments, how you amuse me!
So, I haven't been around much lately. I recently logged in and decided to take a look at site comments. I was shocked to see that I had a 97% approval rating since I take the time to read the pages I comment on and write quality comments.
I scrolled down to see which comment got disapproved. Here's the disapproval reason:
"Disapproval Reason: I didn't get to it in time so answering this comment at this point wouldn't benefit me"
Really?!?!
So let's get this straight. This person requested comments, I post a quality comment, they don't get to it in time, so they choose to disapprove the comment. I'm assuming they did this, so they could get a comment posted to a different site, page or something.
I just find it completely ludicrous that someone would disapprove a comment with that sort of reasoning.
I guess that's enough ranting for the day.

I kinda thought that it was our job to reply to comments on a daily bases, I mean to ask for a comment and then not bother to check it out so you could reply, does not make much sense. :)

It's not anyones job or responsibility to reply same day or as comments come in, if you can reply right away great but if not reply when you can.
If someone is to impatient to wait then maybe they should not use comments because they obviously don't understand how comments work.
When a person replies to a comment it does not diminish the value of the comment

Obviously the don't understand commenting - when you comment has zero affect on things and every comment is valuable
