Hi
I am trying to use one of WA banners and I copied the html into Custom HTML widget on my left sidebar.
The alt attribute is a physical description of the image. If for some reason your image doesn't display then the alt attribute is what displays in place of the image.

Thank you Derek
I am using WA banner on my left sidebar and this error is displayed. I have used WA banners before successfully.
When I have a look at all the banners WA offers us to use the images are no longer displayed. Is this something that needs to be fixed at WA ??
No, sometimes it is just a glich that causes the banner not to show. Then it will show the text. Often you won't notice a problem, it is just there for safety.
There may be a time when your images wont open for some reason and then the text shows viewers what should be there. Without the alt attribute it will just show a cross.

Hi Thorhally,
Once you upload the picture to your Media Library, you can input the Alt text (as seen in the attached pic) for the image based on the picture (and keyword) you want this image to be found with online.
Your picture can be named "Wealthy Affiliate Starter Membership" for example.
thank you for your reply. I am not using a picture. I am using one of WA banners on my left sidebar by copying the html code and putting it into custom HTML widget.
Hi, you can look at the training link i have included.
