Some thoughts after completing training level 2
20 lessons completed! I've learned a great deal, and can't wait to continue with the level 3 training lessons. A website has been created, blog posts published, exploration of the WA system has been conducted.
Though it feels like I've been through a Wordpress blogging tutorial, it is important to understand the basics, build this site step by step to get a grasp of what it is all about. Content is king, keywords are VERY important, and rankings mean business.
I'm not sure if we get into traffic counters in the later lessons, but I added one from Statcounter. It's free, and easy to integrate into the Wordpress site, so why not. I've used it earlier on another site, and it works a treat.
Looking forward to learning more about turning this blogging activity into something that will hopefully pull in some bucks here and there. Otherwise, it would just be a nice writing hobby. The main enemy in all this, is Mr. Procrastination and Mr. Multitasking. Trying to avoid these two is a struggle, actually an ongoing never-ending struggle, but a fight that must be taken to get anywhere with this program. So - Mr. Procrastination and Mr. Multitasking - BEGONE! =)
