Alright guys.

I'm happy to report I've now successfully upgraded to premium and am trying to work through the excitement. I just want to say that everyone here is wise for having joined this community and I feel priviliged to be a part of this group. This is something I would say has been the first time I've really felt could change my life.

A little something about myself:

I'm an avid reader. I like to write about science fiction and horror. I love to draw--been doing it since I was five. I play music (something along the lines of NIN) I do a lot of things. My father was a millionaire at some point; good guy, but a little crazy. Owned properties and even a hotel or two. I never really got to know him, but from the few things I gathered about him from talking to people that did, he was good at business, just not very good with people.

Things tend to take some dark turns sometimes and in my dad's story there was no exception. The one thing that I would say was the biggest mistake for him was that he stepped on the people that helped him get to where he got; looking back at them as if he never knew them. Pretty harsh.

Regardless, he's no longer around and he passed away with much less than he had gained in the very end. Reflecting on this as I have for many years, I've always held to the lesson from his story. I don't want to be like that. I don't want to meet people and find myself backstabbing them, or acting like I never knew them--especially if they played an important role in helping me get to where I need to be.

I moved to San Francisco in my early 20s and lived there for a few years, learning a lot of things about myself, the city, the many sides people assume in a scenario like that, and roughly where we may be headed in the near future--gathering as much of it into a cohesive, fuctioning picture of things in the 21st century. It's a mixed bag to say the least. I ran around a long time trying to gain a leg up by joining programs, working regular jobs and finding myself frustrated with a lot of the outcomes of these endeavors.

I felt like I couldn't get anywhere. Like I was failing. I ended up having to move back to Bisbee Arizona and have since been looking and searching for ways to make money online, from remote jobs transcriptioning, to learning how domain names generate money. I always had an interest in business and that's something I attribute to my father having been who he was.

Kevin Cope's book "Seeing the Big Picture," was one of the first books that really opened my eyes to the value of understanding how a business functions; the true power of knowledge and it's critical value in any facet of life is indispensable. I'm excited to start this path towards success and I'm ready to devote every second of time I have to seeing it come through.

Here's to the start of something grand,

Oz

Thanks for sharing, Oz.

Thank you sir. Surprisingly to me, I never get tired of saying it: thank you. Every single one of you guys that takes the time out of their day to reach out to me truly means a lot. I'm happy to share with people that care.

If you need anything and feel I may be of assistance, please don't hesitate,
Oz

No problem, Oz.
Seems like the people on here are my only friends.

You know what--that's pretty crazy, because I've been tripped out by how much I find myself thinking that. I live in a small little town and though the sense of community is much stronger than in a place like SF, people still seem a little stand off-ish. Not sure if that's just me, lol.

Regardless--it's great to meet ya!

It's great to meet you also. I live in a city of almost 70,000 people. I have family in this town and everyone is committed to using their phone for communication.

Damn. Yeah--that's bothered me a lot. Especially since learning about the amount of psychology that goes into making those things as addictive as possible. I have a 2 year old that's always drawn to the device.

Binging on the literature that's come out in the last 2 decades on the research conducted on smartphones is a very real cause for concern. Especially for the youth.

It's funny, but the younger me would have thought little of it. Now that I'm older, I see how much more value a real conversation holds with a person; one on one, face to face.

Even people older than me use the cellphone or computer to communicate. Like my mother, she used Facebook to hope I feel better like I'm some stranger that she never met. I was in the hospital. I just came out of surgery.

Wow...that--yeah, that's pretty bad. Or when people write, "sending positive vibes," like, oh man--who farted, right? The SOUND of your voice would make a world of difference (in case you've forgotten). I'm kind of glad mom still hasn't quite gotten the hang of them. She's still figuring out WhatsApp.

Hi, Oz, I truly enjoyed reading your story, life isn't easy, we all have to go through difficulties, and the learning curve that makes us mature. Something brought you here, you are here for a reason, it is part of your journey, being part with WA, it is the greatest opportunity for you, for your future, WA has worked for many people, and it can for you too, you just have to find your way of doing it, you have the ability skills to communicate with others, think about through your writing ability you can help people, give the solution to their problems, push your writing to record levels,
Believe in yourself, be patient and do not quit!

Hey there!

I really appreciate you taking the time to read through my post--it means a lot to me. I feel this time around, there's no hogwash, especially with this site and the people in it. Yeah there's a light at the end of this tunnel, but you still have to put in one foot in front of the other, so that's what speaks to me: you have to put in the work, no BS, no get-rich-quick.

Thanks again,
Oz
